PE

Are our efforts empowered by the Almighty God or based on personal efforts only?
Most believers have such mistaken views
Many falls into each extreme
We do our best according to His will
Then we leave it in God’s hands
Resting from our labour to gain strength
And continue our labour in Him
Not forgetting to munch in His Word as our spiritual exercise besides of physical exercise

Psalms 127:1-2 (KJV)
A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so He giveth his beloved sleep.

Normally, PE stands for ‘Physical Exercise’ in the school report card. It may not be so all the time. SE normally stands for ‘Search Engine’ and/or even ‘Self-Employed’. Suddenly it also means ‘Spiritual Efforts’ and ‘Spiritual Exercise’.

My friends and I help one another by “editing” so we present our best writing. Once it’s corrected, the “edit” comments are deleted. Future readers don’t know it needed to be “tweaked.” :)} It’s a courtesy, not a criticism. 😉

      • No worries. Folks often catch mine for me, too. I’d rather have them do that than let me look like a goofus! 😉
