Buildings, trees and roads are blurry
Haze envelops the white blue sky
Sky is foggy with smelly haze
Hazy surges from the smoke
Smoke of burnt flames
Flaming the leafs
Leafs grown on

This poetry began with, “hazy” and “surge”. Gradually, as the haze wasย increasing and came out of the news, more inspirations flowed out. Then I was reminded of Proverbs 28:10 where its context is between verse 9 to 11 speaking, โ€œIf anyone turns a deaf ear to My instruction, even their prayers are detestable. Whoever leads the upright along an evil path will fall into their own trap, but the blameless will receive a good inheritance. The rich are wise in their own eyes; one who is poor and discerning sees how deluded they are.โ€

About Yoshiko

I'm a housewife. My hobby is listening to music, watching movies and dramas, read Manga, and drawing. I enjoy watching Asian movies and dramas such as Japanese, Hong Kong, and Korean. Inspiration comes through my emotions and when I pursue my hobbies. How I wish my Song Lyrics can become a song. And I wish to learn piano, but I don't have the time as now I have a baby. Now, he is a cute and active four years toddler.

  1. Love the way how you have constructed each sentence with the correct number of words in order to come out with this lovely shape!

Thank you for sharing the words and the art in them! Cheers~ ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. Have you ever read the blog Allergic to Life: My Battle or Sonda’s MCS Chatter? They would love this – it sounds like it could be about MCS – Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, a very debilitating illness that forces many people into isolation to get away from chemicals.
