Rest for the weary hearts and lives
Lives need repairing from
Devastation of wars
Wars kill
Kill for blood
Blood is life
Life from God
God our Creator
Creator of current and new lives
Lives who bore God’s image
Image of His love for mankind
Mankind needs to love
Love one another
As the Father has loved us
Through Christ’s death
Death on the cross and resurrect
Resurrect to show His power
Power in us to defeat
Defeat demons’ power in us
Promising His strength in our weaknesses
Weaknesses to sin but to
To arise in God’s love
Love triumphs over dark powers

These inspiration is birthed and continue Richard’s Celebrating Life poetry. May this poetry continue to remind us of God’s love in His Word – the gospel, Romans 5 and New Testaments; inspires others to defeat the dark powers in them.
Very well said my friend, wonderful poem. π
Thank you, Dom, for your compliment
Right now the dark powers in the world seem to be doing far too well.
Yes now the dark powers seems to be doing far too well but God is still at work

Please provide the link. I can’t find it.
I have posted it again for you on my home page. This time you should be able to find it along with my key posts. Do respond after reading.
Done
Thank you for the awaited response. The only thing I wish to say is that one can’t take responsibility for events in the universe unless one believes in what we Indians call karma or the rule of action. One enduring a calamity certainly doesn’t think he deserved it, does he? Eventually all humanity suffers together. Thank you for the follow and looking forward to more exchanges.
How about the innocent people who suffer from the perpetrators? For example: the 911, the world wars. Does it considered as karma?
World wars are fights between giants and the grass suffers for it. Man – made calamities are anyway different from those created by extra – terrestrial agencies. The Japanese were to blame for what happened in world war I I but they were certainly innocent when the effects of tsunami made worse by the fukushima disaster engulfed them. The poem is about recurrent calamity and frequent tests of endurance of a people who have a long history of stoicism and sedateness.
What about the innocent Abel killed by the jealous Cain in the Genesis?
What about the innocent lives in the 911?
And many other poor citizens who are oppressed due to their leaders’ mistakes?
Lovely poem, Yoshiko. Thank you for stopping by my blog and the like. Best wishes!
Thank you, J π best wishes to you too
