Ripe

Posted on

Drip!
Bird’s pie drops
Onto the floor
In front of me

Drip!
Bird’s pie drops
Onto my
Transparent umbrella

Drop!
A ripe fruit
Drops but Hits
Onto my head
End its destination
On the pedestrian footpath

Life is full of
Unpredictable events
For us to
Decide and Choose
Either Good or Bad fertilizers
Insert into our
Lives
Insert into our
Innermost minds and hearts

Creeping inside before it is
Ripe and blooms
Beware the root grows inside

First and second stanza happened during my college years, but the fifth stanza birth out today to earn the final destination of the inner root from within. God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

About Yoshiko

I'm a housewife. My hobby is listening to music, watching movies and dramas, read Manga, and drawing. I enjoy watching Asian movies and dramas such as Japanese, Hong Kong, and Korean. Inspiration comes through my emotions and when I pursue my hobbies. How I wish my Song Lyrics can become a song. And I wish to learn piano, but I don't have the time as now I have a baby. Now, he is a cute and active four years toddler.

  1. I like the addition of your fifth stanza that added new life and a good lesson to the poem!
