Lost in the woods
Darkness envelops
Shiny bright red eyes
Lurk across the dark bushes
Sprouting words of deceits
Heartbeat races inside the ribcage
Mind goes blank and loses all focus
Heart and mind cry to the Lord for deliverance
The Lord clears the path

Life is crazy. I love peace so I tend to keep silent. After so many hurts, misunderstood, and being blamed for the things I didn’t do, I was so fearful of people. Some people are cunning whereas some people means well. The devil knows how to play my mind during my marriage through someone. When I realize that, my parents told me not to be fearful. I thank the Lord to ease my heart and mind. A sister in Christ means well, but I have been so fearful of her good will. Until the Lord intervenes and clear the misunderstanding in our relationship. God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

About Yoshiko

I'm a housewife. My hobby is listening to music, watching movies and dramas, read Manga, and drawing. I enjoy watching Asian movies and dramas such as Japanese, Hong Kong, and Korean. Inspiration comes through my emotions and when I pursue my hobbies. How I wish my Song Lyrics can become a song. And I wish to learn piano, but I don't have the time as now I have a baby. Now, he is a cute and active four years toddler.

  1. Sometimes we need help to figure things out. It’s good to remember that and to be reminded. Nicely done.

    I love your poem.
    Have a great week!

  3. Lost in the woods at night – recalls a grocery run (200 km one way) when my truck broke down in a muddy, raining June night on the trail (a corduroy road) into Wood Buffalo Park and walking it out towards help and safety. There was the stumbling, crashing of a big animal in the woods that moved a parallel course to the vehicle track. Providence met me, a former Army Ranger idled his one tonne, diesel Ford to me, gathered me and others stuck on the clay-mud track.

Never liking deceits (or games) … hoping that honesty, integrity and right-relationship(s) with God prevail.

I had a fan belt flown in and the army ranger and I returned and got my Nissan Pathfinder going, again.

    Take care … πŸ˜‰
