Hikari Yori
As I was thinking of my lackness, I realized it is my husband’s strong point. His weakness is my strength. When I am bullied through words, my husband protects me with his words. I often lose words during confrontation. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

Tojiru Yoshiko
It is great to live nearby. Within a certain time frame, we weave together upon the same theme. My haiku depicts the differences between couples and team efforts in the churches and even corporate world. This is due to hearing
1. Split churches
2. Divorces
3. Political existence in the corporate world
God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

My friend passed a book to me for advice. The book ‘Careers in Digital Animation’ mentions the graduate artists to do internships and unpaid jobs. It is someone who set this industry practices so this produced another IP acronym. This industry practices spoil the arts company to prey on the new artists to do free work. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

Tojiru Yoshiko
Upon hearing such matter from Yori, I was shocked and curious of the book. Upon hearing the stated words, I also have the same disagreements as Yori. This sparked an inspiration in me birthing the above poetry. Any artists reading this, please hear my questions. Please consider the professions of maids, waiters, waitresses, promoters, doctors, nurses, scientists, administrative, secretaries, and other finance industries. Those without experiences will get paid for their full time internships then turns into permanent positions. But why exploit the new emerging artists and even freelancers to do the required arts job? Are arts industries considered nothing? Just preys to exploit?

With the notion of beauty, I took shower. Thinking that many people are obsessed with the sense of beauty. It produced SOB acronym. Then “smear” came to add more meaning in how God’s creation falls due to the first sin committed by Adam and Eve. Fat people are obsessed to lose weight. Thin people are obsessed to gain weight. Slim and slender people are obsessed to maintain their weight. That was how SOB acronym came into mind. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

Problems often occur among people. This produced PIP acronym. According to Oxford Learner’s dictionary, pip means (1) The small hard seed that is found in some types of fruit (2) A series of short high sounds, especially those used when giving the exact time on the radio. The synonyms of pip are seed, stone, pit. The free dictionary defines pip as the stone of soft fruits such as peaches and plums. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

Tojiru Yoshiko
Upon understanding and pondering the meaning of Pip, it takes six days to birth the poetry out. Using devour word will give a much greater impact compared to swallow. Kick is a stronger words rather than leave. God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Being inspired with ant bully movie, I concluded my husband as insects and bugs bully. Recalling his young times, it seems disgusting to me for him to bully the insects and bugs he encountered. Remove cricket’s one leg then put back into the trees. Put fire onto a spider until its legs retract back and died. A brick to stomp onto a scorpion.

Then I was reminded of my brother during his primary days. A rat was locked in a trap cage. A stick inside the trap cage with a sharp end was used to sting the dark brown rat curiously. Though I asked him to stop, he continually sting it many times. I watched in horror in how it shrieked in pain until it stopped moving and ceased its breath. Such a gross sight.

All these sights and hearings mixed together and gives birth to this first acrostic poetry with the help from Yori. Reminding me of the book of Leviticus in the procedure to care the land God blesses. Leaving me speechless for D, E, O, Q, T, and U. When I think of the poor, there are downtrodden people. Leading me to the outcast.

God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Suddenly, the idea of defining con acronym came “Caught Off Guard” except for letter n. According to the free dictionary, con means

  1. involving abuse of confidence; deceitfully manipulative: a con trick.
  2. to swindle; trick.
  3. to persuade by deception, cajolery, etc.
    Li>a confidence game or swindle.
  • a lie, exaggeration, or glib self-serving talk.

    Tojiru Yoshiko
Yori’s acrostic poetry gave me the visual idea of the devil’s deception described by Jesus in the book of gospel. After communicating with Yiri cia email, inspirations flowed out as I continued writing it down.

Ephesians 6:10-18 (KJV)
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of
faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

Hikari Yori
This acrostic idea came when I shredding paper. Since SP didn’t give any meaning, inserting “i” seemed suitable letter candidate than “a”. Sip gives the meaning of drinking and dwelling in Christ’s strength and protection. According to the free online dictionary, sip means
1. To drink in small quantities
2. A small quantity of liquid sipped

Tojiru Yoshiko
Upon thinking of sip and Yori’s idea, shield of faith verses inspired my poetry. Graphical design will help to illustrate this message better.

Tienny The
Designing the sip graphically challenged me. I feel to make the small letter “i” signify human’s frailty needing God’s grace and mercy. Then integrity will follow.

As we walk in obedience in His ways

Hikari Yori
When thinking of lacking confidence, it produced the acronym of LOC. Inserting K made it more meaningful. Free online dictionary defines lock as

  1. A device operated by a key, combination, or key card and used, as on a door, for holding, closing, or securing.
  2. A section of a waterway, such as a canal, closed off with gates, in which vessels in transit are raised or lowered by raising or lowering the water level of that section.
  3. A mechanism in a firearm for exploding the charge.
  4. An interlocking or entanglement of elements or parts.

Tojiru Yoshiko
Lacking and even losing self-confidence and/or confidence in men may seem a bad point in terms of the world’s point of view. But this may lead us to seek the Truth of our purpose in life. When we found the Source of help in our Saviour, our eyes will be fixed upon Him who cares our broken hearted.

According to Random House Kernerman Webster’s College Dictionary, dam means

  1. A barrier to obstruct the flow of water, esp. one of earth, masonry, etc., built across a stream or river
  2. A body of water confined by a dam
  3. Any barrier resembling a dam
  4. To furnish with a dam; obstruct or confine with a dam

My son purposely slowed down and refused to change his clothes. He particularly hates a seat cover and named it “teeth”. On Sunday, our guest bought him that seat cover. Its roughness gave the feeling of teeth. Suddenly, a light bulb appeared in my mind. Scaring him that the “teeth” asked me to let it out of the storeroom to jump around the living room. Fearful noise and look, he speedily changed to pyjamas and entered the room. Unexpectedly, he talked about this to his dad. He questioned me what is “teeth”. Using my body language to ask him to sing the same tune as me. Upon reflecting this, the above poetry flowed out.

Hikari Yori
When I heard of Yoshiko’s story, “Play along” came and produced the acronym of PA, which stands for Public Announcement.

Suddenly, my hard times gave me the idea of hit acronym. When the words “having hard times” came, I was thinking to pass through it. Then I realized of its acronym. The dictionary defines hit as

2. To be affected by (a negative development)

Tojiru Yoshiko
Isaiah and Psalm inspired my poetry.

Suddenly, “Bent on revenge” came after I wrote Bod. So inserting letter E will produce the acronym of bore meaning
1. To make a hole in or through, with or as if with a drill.
2. To form (a tunnel, for example) by drilling, digging, or burrowing.

Tojiru Yoshiko
The gospels inspired my poetry image journey in my mind.

All along I have deep respect for the old age people due to their wisdom. “Accomplishment Growth” words are the mark of older people so it was a challenge to define E as the mark of Age acronym. Later on, “Experience” knocked onto my head when I was thinking about my experience in the resume. According to dictionary, age means
1. The length of time that one has existed; duration of life: 23 years of age.
2. One of the stages of life

Tojiru Yoshiko
In today’s society, I realised the old home age is increasing in number. More children choose to leave their old aged parents into old folks home. A very sad sight. Most senior positions in corporate world are people with a certain age and experience. When they reached the peak, they were given long holiday. Is that how we treat the aged?

Being too emotional as a mother when my son misbehaves, unexpectedly, he enjoys irritating me. Sometimes, I locked myself in the bathroom to cry after the struggle ends. After I calm down, I realised that humans are emotional being. EB acronym is produced. Inserting letter B will be EBB. Pondering about it, lead me to a picture. Picture came into my mind of a person being blown by an explosion. It is a movie that I watched before. Afterward, the movie showed that the person disappeared. Thank God it is not gross. According to the dictionary, ebb means

    1. The flowing back of the tide as the water returns to the sea (opposed to flood, flow)
    2. A flowing backward or away; decline or decay: the ebb of a once great nation.
    3. A point of decline: His fortunes were at a low ebb.
    4. To flow back or away, as the water of a tide ( opposed to flow )
    5. To decline or decay; fade away: His life is gradually ebbing.

Tojiru Yoshiko
Upon pondering this word, “emotion”, emotion tends to get the better of me too. It can be disastrous if depend it as compass. Let me share my bad experience into a learning experience.

Excited to get the first illustration project, I willingly accept it when my mom and brother disagreed. They disagreed to accept from my relative whom I felt close during young times. But she flew overseas to further her studies and no contact with her for 12 years and returned. Willingly, I emailed her the sketches. Upon knowing my price
though half lower than the market price, she told me she didn’t want to continue it. Regrets crushed me to know her true mask. If I know, I should believe my mom and brother. Afterward, my sister did mention of my relative character. Before I didn’t believe my relative is a cunning person. Now, it is a hard truth for me. Gulp. Like a hard stone in my throat and I was depressed. Obviously, I wore the wrong spectacle back then. Though no contact now and without her apology, I feel sad to lose such relationship. My dad also dislikes this relative. Then I realised those freelance artists will request for 50% deposit for the charged amount. I feel that I’m like a fool. Thank God that the second client introduced from a friend is approved by my family and completed the project.

Words by Dimple Shahri

Nothing is too much for me to bear compare to what Jesus had to bear for me.

As I give to others, I give God space to bless me.

If God can start something in your life, He really knows how to end it!

Jesus gave all so we can receive all.

When life seems hard and we feel like giving up, at least live for the One who died for you so u might live!

Jesus alway see us as winners not quitters!

Jesus believes in you when you don’t even believe in yourself.

One bird has a whole big massive field to eat from. Everywhere it goes, it sees abundance. What more us who are more precious than those birds. So open your eyes and see the abundance the Father has for you.

Sometimes we feel the enemy is running after us, maybe he is but we have to know where he is running… On a threadmill my friend. He can’t catch you or hold you. He will always remain a loser. God is good.

The days of my life is in the hands of God, so why should I be afraid! Jesus is with me.

God hears, sees and knows. Remember He gave those eyes, ears, and mind to you.

Devil.. don’t you dare mess around with me or you will be messy!
