Return To The Lord – And Be Blessed By Him.

Learning From God's Word

Lord, the return of Your people to Jerusalem was more than a geographical return. It was a spiritual return. Help us to return to You – and to seek Your blessing (Ezra 8:21). Without Your blessing, we are nothing. Help us to hold on to Your promise: “The hand of our God is for good upon all that seek Him” (Ezra 8:22).

The Importance of Prayer Partners

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Keeping your arms raised for a period of time might not seem like a difficult task—until you try it. No matter how strong you are, you’ll eventually find it impossible to hold them up, as if a 20-pound weight were strapped to each one.

In Exodus 17:8-16, Moses was faithfully praying on a hill while his soldiers were below, fighting the Amalekites. As long as his arms were raised, the Israelites prevailed. But he couldn’t maintain this posture on his own for very long. He needed Aaron and Hur to hold up his hands.

The Lord never expected Moses to do the job by himself. Nor is He going to let any one of us be absolutely independent—that isn’t how He operates. God has built His church in such a way that the world will recognize Christians by their love toward one another (John 13:35). As we ultimately…

Dancing With God

Posted on

Susan Irene Fox

Don’t criticize me for my dance

with God, who brings me confidence.

He lifts my mind up from despair

because I know He’s everywhere.

The Father’s lavish love implants

my heart with kindness in advance

of meeting strangers unaware,

because I know He’s everywhere.

Through Jesus, grace shows evidence

of living water when dispensed

without condition, freely shared

because I know He’s everywhere.

The Spirit helps my faith advance,

in trust, and bloom, mature-enhance

the way I see; become aware

because I know He’s everywhere.

In gentle arms, I take a chance

to follow Him in this deep dance,

and heart to heart I sigh in prayer

because I know He’s everywhere.

God’s Treasure

Pure Glory

by Hazel Straub

How many times have you judged someone, by how they look on the outside? Discounted others or even yourself because of some perceived flaw? Although, chipped and cracked jars of clay, we carry wonderful treasure inside of us. God has chosen us, as carriers of his treasure. It is those cracks that allow the glow of God’s glory light to shine.

Valuable! No matter how broken, God values you. Man looks on the outside, but God looks at the heart. Treasured vessel, lit with his life and surrounded and immersed in his love!

Our bodies are made of clay, yet we have the treasure of the Good News in them. This shows that the superior power of this treasure belongs to God and doesn’t come from us. (2 Corinthians 4:7 NOG)

Grace paced living in a burnout culture

Posted on

In this digital age era, we are in need of God more to exercise and to live in God’s grace and mercy. Most of us can identify with many voices stated in Grace Paced Living in a burnout culture and are stuck in it. Let us rest in God’s grace through Jesus to perform our daily job in our lives.

Heavenly Father, many times we have fallen short from your grace. O Lord, enable us to perform our job as unto You and bless us on the job that You assign to us. Then grant us the rest and peace from our labour. In Jesus’ name I ask. Amen.

When Our Hands are Guided

Do we allow the light of God to hold our hearts and hands as depicted in this poetry?

When our hands are guided by the light, they will paint and write

the beauty and hope, that we all need.

May all our hands be guided,

giving from the best,

from our hearts

Proverbs 10:17-21 with poetry

Posted on

An anonymous poetry speaks to me during my devotion time. It is about a wise owl. It points to the book of proverbs 10:17-21. “He who restrains his lips is wise,” verse 11 is the emphasize of the whole verse.

Lord, grants us wisdom when to restrain our lips. Restrain our lips at the right time. May we be a good listener. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Your God Jar

For those who have many problems.

Source of Inspiration

Put it in your God Jar
forget it
it’s not your problem

Don’t take it out
and look at it again
worry some more
just write the problem down
put it in your God Jar
and forget it.

It’s God’s Miracle.

Wallowing in Worry

Source of Inspiration

Oh, how we love to wallow in worry
fretting over this or that
refusing to turn to God
who promises peace.

What masters of complaint
have we become
critical, judgmental
never satisfied.

Our Lord promises us
peace, joy, life abundant
if we but follow
Him in sweet surrender.
The choice is ours.

God’s Masterpiece

May Jonathan’s experience and insights able to edify you all. The Lord blesses you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Jonathan Camac

When you look at the canvas of your life, what do you see?

Maybe you see it riddled with mistakes. The lines might not be straight. Parts of the drawing have gone outside of the lines. The paper is torn, dirty. Stains splattered across the painting serve as a constant reminder of past mistakes [1]. People in the painting are blurry, once good friends have become un-recognisable.

No form of eraser or glue can fix the mess which you’ve created.

What would you give to start again? How much money would you pay to have your messy, torn up canvas turned into a masterpiece?

For we are God’s masterpiece.’ – Ephesians 2:9

We don’t become God’s masterpiece after we have fixed up the canvas of our life. Not God’s masterpiece once we’ve sorted out those messy lines and torn edges.  We are God’s masterpiece. Not in a few weeks, months or…

Amorelle - Just Keeping it Real

Hi lovely,

Today I want to prophesy some things over you for this month – my birth month. I declare and decree release over your soul until freedom and peace makes you whole.

I command release for your soul.

I demand release of your soul.

In Jesus name.

I speak release.

I speak release of all your hurt and pain and fears,

I speak release of all your emptiness and tears.

I speak release.

I speak release of all your hate and bitterness,

I speak release of all your guilt and unrighteousness.

I speak release.

I speak release of all your negative talk,

I speak release of all your wayward walk.

I speak release.

I speak release of your generational curse,

I speak release of all the heartaches you rehearse.

I speak release.

I speak release of every enemy lie,

I speak release of the blood of the One…

May this be a reminder to us our first love for Christ.

Where Words Daily Come

Stars will fall down from
The sky, and leaves will
Always fall from the trees…

Snow flakes fall when winter
Comes, and soft showers with
The coming of Spring

Cherry blossoms fall
Down from the trees, with
The nearness of the summer

Yet, to fall in love with You
Each day of my life, I will
Never need a special reason

Psalm 73: 23-26
Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.

“We love because He first loved us”.

Full Of Roses Inspirationals

1 Corinthians 13 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Greatest Gift, combined with poetry

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels
But have not love
I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal
At times my heart can resemble the hardest stone
How can my heart be known, if covered and unknown
Might I find the courage, out from behind the rock I stand
He calls me out from hiding
Teaching me by His spirit, I’m abiding
In the boat as He sleeps, a storm comes, it creeps
He is not awakened, though my heart frightened and shaken
Out from the boat on the water He stands
From a whisper He calls, commands, Terrified, I step out
And then begin to sink, the storms He quiets, and takes my hand
Now on the rock I stand
I deny Him three times as the cock crows…
