Seven deadly sins God hates
Endlessly giving foothold to the evil one
Imprison mankind
Repeat under the sun
The continuum cycle continues

Dom DiFrancesco’s poetry at http://blackandwrite.wordpress.com/2013/12/23/at-this-joyous-time-of-year-acrostic/ reminded me of the scripture about the seven deadly sins God hates. Being stuck in the first line, I leave it for more than a year. As I return to it, I thank the Lord for more words pop out in my mind. God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Immerse into the deep living water of Jesus
Awakened to live a life for Him alone
Refreshing my soul and spirit from the clutch of death

Today, I return to it again and feel inspired of my last year’s experiences worshipping God. I saw that I am fully soaked in the living water. What is God going to do this year? God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Doing and Going

Posted on

Doing good as best as we can
Going to please God in living

Doing too much
Going to drain

Going to our Lord Jesus
Doing best to our weary soul

Being overworked can cause burnt out. Today’s technological era place more burden onto the body system. When we do too much for God, it can produce a different result. It drains our energy. Thus I conclude who to give help. I need to take care of my mental and health first. Then I can serve God more productively. God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Blamed Perspectives

Posted on

Speak your opinion on this issue
I speak out
Only to be labeled selfish
Immediate suggest to overwrite
I relent out of care
Why should parents do so?

Oppressed Israelites wanted God to deliver
The Lord sent Moses and Aaron
Only to leave them alone
Immediate blamed them during harsher oppression
God delivered them out of Egypt
Why should the Israelites worship idols?
Provoke the Lord’s jealousy

In the morning, dad asks my opinion to cook the a vegetable to instruct the helper. My decision is to steam it. Immediately, he labels me selfish and blurts out his own opinion. Later, my son doesn’t like it. He never bothers to understand me. Then he suggests to use it for fried rice. I just reply that I’m okay with it. Does he ever care about my feelings? My son is overseas with his dad. Of course, I speak out my thinking when ask. I begin to see the main problem and many perspectives from this issue. Parents can’t stop voicing out their opinions onto their children due to going through many experiences. Pride seeps into their hearts. Jump to conclusion based on their sights. They have forgotten the importance to sit and listen to understand their own children.

After I do stretching from Kikuchi Taisou DVD, I begin to write. Writing is part of my discipline to improve my expression muscle. Noisy music comes out of my parents’ room. Suddenly, my dad stands at my door. He invites me to observe him to cook fried rice. I reply him later. Again he labels me and speaks that I won’t learn. Now, I see the reason parents and children fight against one another. Parents are eager to force their opinions to their children. If the child belongs to the opinionated category, they are labeled bad temper. Another category who is quiet, they are labeled for not being decisive. They care about their parents feelings. Yet the parents tend to demand their own ways.

All these help me to see from many perspectives. And also the reason I lose my concentration.

Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

Trust in the Lord

Posted on

Pray to the Lord
Trusting the Lord
With hearts and minds
In everything
Doing own best

I will deliver thee
Thou shalt not be given into
The hand of men
Whom thou art afraid

I will surely deliver thee
Thou shalt not fall by the sword
Thy life shall be a prey unto thee
Because thou hast put thy trust in Me

Saith the Lord

Jeremiah 39 helps me to understand about God. The Lord spoke to the Israelites through the prophet Jeremiah. Second and third stanza comes from verse 17 to 18. These two verses speak to me the importance to trust in the Lord during my tumultuous times. Likewise, the Lord continually deliver those who put their trust in Him. This really comforts my heart to continually trust in Him. Proverbs 3 also explain the importance of trusting the Lord in whatever we do.

SS asks me whether I am afraid of being alone with her. I say no because I am sketching. Deep down I feel awkward for my business mentor to tell me that SS is my spiritual mother. Misa and her listen to my problems. She shares the reason she wants me to continuously come to her shop. It is meant to encourage the oppressed to be encouraged. I feel so happy to see my business mentor coming to SS hair salon. Today, she looks approachable. I am shocked she brings the wrong cream. It is body and hand cream. She is supposedly to bring the hair colour cream. Misa points it out. After trim her hair, we have a good conversation. My husband said that I am like a woodblock. They also ask whether I enjoy making love. I say no. Then I listen to the Lord to confess my sin to them that I wear boys clothes. I begin to share my business mentor’s words, “you are not a woman” makes feel guilty. It reminds me of my childhood. I wear boy’s clothes. After I wear then it was passed to my brother. When I want to pay her for quasha, she doesn’t want it. Appreciate her quasha on my head, neck and shoulders. The clock struck 6:30pm and she returns home. SS and Misa listens to my issues. I also share my observation and testify God’s goodness. Then SS has dinner with me and listen to my issues.

No To Who?

Posted on

No heat is lost
No wind
Blow the flame away
Flame dissipates into darkness
Atmosphere becomes cold
Who are we becoming?
No to Who inside of Christians?
