We, as the members of Daylight Tune, have decided to work as a Christian team in our service to the Lord Jesus Christ so Daylight Tune Ministries is founded in the year of 2006. We are a Christian team that is dedicated to provide free resources mainly to equip God’s people in the Word of God. We are passionate to make the Word of God to be easier to understand and fun to learn and make it available to all. The free resources will be provided in the form of inspiration, short articles, Bible study materials, and in a game format.
Why we choose the name of “Daylight Tune Ministries”? This is because “Day” means to us what Jesus said in John 9:4 “As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.” “Light” represents Jesus as our light. “Tune” means to us the songs we sing to our “Light”. So this website will provide the inspiration songs in MP3 files. So far, Hikari Yori is trying to find the tune by learning a musical instrument called Keyboard. Keyboard is similar to Piano. The inspiration songs in this site will one day have the songs.
Some of us suggested to put Her Story because we are girls, but Hikari suggested to put His Story because our head is Lord Jesus Christ. We also agreed with her as this site ultimately is to glorify Lord Jesus through the gifts He has blessed us, and to provide free resources to our brothers and sisters in Christ. Hikari wants to work together as a team, not a supervisor, and even suggested not to have a leader. But we need a leader so we throw the responsibility to her, the reluctant leader.
We understand that each of us are blessed with different gifts and skills. Each gift complements each other just like a body comprises of different parts as mentioned by the Apostle Paul in the first book of Corinthians chapter 12.
In September 2014, the book of Colossians chapter 4 verse 17 NKJV speak to us where the Apostle Paul speaks to Archippus, “Take heed to the ministry which you have received in The Lord that you may fulfill it.” We hope we can fulfill this while we struggle with our finances in our day job. We are hoping to do our best to our Lord and Saviour to receive His commendation as stated in Matthew 25:21, 23 (NKJV) “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant . . . Enter into the joy of your lord.’” and Luke 19:17 (NKJV), “And He said to him, ‘Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.’ “
