Ephesians 6:10-18 (KJV)
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of
faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

Hikari Yori
This acrostic idea came when I shredding paper. Since SP didn’t give any meaning, inserting “i” seemed suitable letter candidate than “a”. Sip gives the meaning of drinking and dwelling in Christ’s strength and protection. According to the free online dictionary, sip means
1. To drink in small quantities
2. A small quantity of liquid sipped

Upon thinking of sip and Yori’s idea, shield of faith verses inspired my poetry. Graphical design will help to illustrate this message better.

Designing the sip graphically challenged me. I feel to make the small letter “i” signify human’s frailty needing God’s grace and mercy. Then integrity will follow.

Living for Him
Letting His strength to be upon our weakness

This began with a guest staying in my house. Upon seeing my parents sat together in the kitchen, she banged the door (due to jealousy) then went out. Normally, she wouldn’t bang the door before my dad came. So I was thinking to add into the house rule, “In your anger, please do not bang the door.” Actually, this idea is inspired from Ephesians 4:22-32 (KJV), “That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Does a media we listen and/or watch affects our attitude towards life?
Does that media beneficial for our inner-self and even our mind and hearts?

I Corinthians 6:12-14 (KJV)
All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.

1 Corinthians 10:23 (KJV)
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

Ephesians 4:28-32 (KJV)
Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 2 Timothy 3:1-3 (NIV)
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good.

Suddenly, the word “Art declines” came to my mind then “Attitude declines” and realise its acronyms are AD and the Scripture of Corinthians “Everything is permissible, but not beneficial” spoke to me. AD stands for Anno Domini, which means In the Year of Our Lord (and the lord is Jesus). This reminded me of the Apostle Paul wrote in his letter to Timothy.

What is our challenge to use our given time from our Creator?
Time is a gift from our Creator to do His will.
Time is a gift from our Creator to love one another.

Ephesians 5:14-21 (KJV)
Wherefore He saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

I couldn’t sleep due drinking too much tea cups at a networking meeting. My water was left a bit. My thirsty tongue led my hand to fill my mouth with tea. This was due to the meeting venue only provided tea and coffee. Couldn’t sleep cause me to read a book from chapter 7 to 18. I was surpised that the thick book had ended. Filled with marvel, seems that I have been challenging against time to use my time wisely. Then I was awestruck about “challenging against time” create the acronym of cat.

As I look upon the meaning of cat from Oxford Advanced Learner’s dictionary, it means

  1. A small animal with soft fur that people often keep as a pet. Cats
catch and kill birds and mice.
  2. A wild animal of the cat family.

Surprisingly, cats sleep a lot (two thirds of a day) and are attracted to waving objects and yarn at
