The normal acrostic definition of Bible is Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth. But suddenly another definition came with the word “Believe In Book of Life in Eternity”. Then rephrase it correctly. God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

True nature is the depiction of our self identity. This produced TN acronym. Inserting u and e seemed more meaningful. Amazingly, this is the acrostic meaning of a word of my ministry to God.

Do we see God’s eternal love for mankind in the pages of the Bible?
His love to us through Lord Jesus Christ
To pay the penalty of sins
Then rise from the dead
To show us His glorious love
Changing the lives of people
Bringing glory to His kingdom to come

On my way home from work, after thinking of defining hug, my mind was wondering how my Creator sets eternity into humans’ heart described in Ecclesiastes. Suddenly, words came “Bound by eternity”. As I revisited this thrice, acronym “Bible” seems the best definition. Then other words came to fill in the blanks. I ever heard that Bible stands for “Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth”. Why not another definition? So this acrostic poetry is produced.

Sow to Reap

Posted on

Selfishness blind the hearts
Selfishness blind the minds
Full of self seeking
Without realizing
Greed, Hatred, Pride, Self justification grip the eyes
Nothing else satiates one’s void heart
These causing oneself
Groping in darkness
Sowing evil seeds
Evil ones torment oneself
Wicked living
Living in hell of conscience
Reaping unquenchable fire

Fear of the Lord open the hearts
Fear of the Lord open the minds
Full of caring others
Without realizing
Love, Care, Concern, Peace, Kindness, Goodness, Longsuffering,
Gentleness, Patience, Joy, Understanding, and Self Control grip the eyes
Nothing else satiates one’s full heart
These causing oneself
Brisk in the light
Sowing good seeds
Basking in God’s love
Righteous living
Living in paradise of conscience
Reaping heavenly rewards

Open your eyes
Which one is the best?
Choose what is best
What is your preference?
Any decision made?

Being in the bathroom is my favourite part of the day. It is when ideas and inspirations pop out such as images of poetry and stories. This time, “Groping in darkness Or Brisk in the light” popped out. Words flowed out upon revisiting it for two days being reminded of Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV), “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

SOS

SOS-2

Loving us too much
He willingly sacrifice Himself
To rescue us from death
Death from sins
To give us eternal life

Philippians 2:6-16 (KJV)
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

Suddenly, inserting O into the words “self sacrifice” produced the acronym of SOS. Then the idea to improvise came into place. Thank God. Because SOS stands for Save Our Soul. As I was going to upload schedule this, suddenly another definition spoke to me, “Salvation Of Our Saviour”.

Our patience can be cultivated through Christ’s strength in us when we allow Him.
Who is the Hero of the universe?
Who is the Initial Being before the universe appears?
Who is the One who can save our souls from darkness?
Who is the One who can save our souls from sin?
Who is the Saviour of our souls?
Who is the Prince of Peace?
Who is the Immanuel (God with us)?
