Depiction of kiss stated in the Bible
The gospel stated the betrayer kissed Jesus
Books afterwards stated holy kiss in love
Different people focus
Focus on
Different sides of the Bible
Rather than balancing it

Balance the two sides
To pursue godliness
Living in the truth
To flee from evil
Without giving the devil a foothold

Today, my husband wants to discuss about our son’s issue and wants me to call my dad. We discuss together. Dad discusses his mother’s psychological issue. Then he points out his own weaknesses and strengths then my husband’s. He can do work with his own hands than my husband. However, my husband is very good in talking but can’t do. My analysis is my dad can talk who encourages others to improve. But my husband doesn’t. He just wants to get his own way and is ready to remove those who get in his way. He dares to say I didn’t go to Sabah with him when his brother passed away two years ago. Then I scold him that he was the one who mentioned no need to go due our son was very young then.

I begin to speak up on my husband’s aching and cursing words. The church teaches to greet each other in kiss after quarrel. His judgments of me based from the Bible was Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus. However, the Bible mentioned to forgive each other and greet each other with kisses. Thus I do so to him. However, he interpreted it as going to betray him. When he massaged and nagged at my lifestyle, I lose my temper and share about upsets. When I make mistakes, he is ready to put me down. The correct ones are not being appreciated. When he wants to discuss with me about Huey, I am tired and want to rest early.

Throughout this, I begin to understand my husband and myself. I tend to see people’s good side and the learning to balance both sides of the Bible.

May this bless you and improve your walk in the Lord.

Modern Era

Entering the modern era
Liberalism are enforced
Parting money in order to earn more money
Unlike olden days where bartering is enforced

Focus on money blinds the heart
Focus on money crime rate increases
Focus on money lead to selfishness
Focus of money kills conscience
Focus on money lead to dishonest gains
Fearful, hungry, and thirsty hearts
Smeared conscience
Living fearfully
Darkness envelops whole beings
Devil instigates and continually lies to the minds
Evil reigns and feet rush to evil

Unless focus on the Creator
Trust in Him
Following His statutes and ordinances as our worship to our Saviour
Earning money is gained honestly as our worship to our Lord
Love, Care and concern in the community
Remaining in His love
Basked in His bountiful love
Joyful dance in expressing our love to our Lord
Hearts are free from fear
Continuum peaceful and satisfied hearts
Righteousness prevails
No foothold for the devil to reign

Soar - Speed

The Bible

Soar - Shift

After we believe and trust in Jesus Christ
To bring the good news to the lost
Our testimony of God’s love and goodness upon our lives
Singing praises to His glorious name.

“Speed of Reading” idea came upon reading Yoshiko’s poetry ‘Reading Speed’. Somehow, it gives the acronym of SOAR. In the midnight, the word for A came and a new definition of SOAR appeared in my mind. According to Oxford Advanced Learner’s dictionary, soar means
1. If the value, amount or level of something soars, it rises very quickly
2. To rise quickly and smoothly up into the air
3. To fly very high in the air or remain high in the air
4. To be very high or tall
5. When music soars, it becomes higher or louder

Refer: 14:22-34; Hebrews 12:1-3; Revelations 1:7-9;21:5-7;22:12-14 (KJV)

While I was swimming with my husband in the public pool, I burst to laughter upon catching a glimpse in the way he swam. Abruptly, I lost control and was on the verge of drowning. I tried my best to stop laughing. I could not stop it. I prayed to the Lord for help. Then words came to my mind, “I need to look away”. As I did so, my laughter stop and again, words came to me to focus to reach the end of the pool. Upon listening to the advice, my focus is clear and no longer upon my husband’s swimming style.

Then I remembered the Bible where Peter lost his focus when the storm came while walking on the water towards Jesus. The Apostle Paul guides us clearly from the book of Hebrews to fix our focus upon Jesus who is the Author and Finisher of our faith.

Do remember what is stated in the book of Revelations that Jesus says that He is the Alpha and Omega.

Likewise, we need to fix our focus upon Jesus while we live on earth.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me about Your Word as it begins to work in mightily in my heart as I experience and apply it in my daily lives. Thank You for Your guidance whenever I need it.
