Great and Mighty God

Great in counsel
Mighty in work
Thine eyes are opened to
All the ways of mankind

Our ways are always opened
Before Your eyes
None can be hidden from You
You know the intents of our hearts

You gives everyone
According to their ways
According to the fruit of their doings

Pray for Authority

Posted on

O Lord
Unpluck the root of the bad seed
That are sowed by the evil one
Without Your Son Jesus Christ
I can’t do anything
Grant me Your authority to
Command the evil one to
Leave this house

Tone of authority came
Commanding the evil seeds
Away from the young child
Praying for the blood of Jesus to
Protect the young soul
Seeking God to cover him in
His heart, mind and spirit.

Eliminate God’s values for mankind to live cause havoc. Science begin to deny God’s existence due to its research to clone. Though there are good points from it, science is a discovery of God’s creation. But it can not replace God. The first stanza is to depict the picture of pause button. Second stanza depicts the picture of a tree where Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit. God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Afterwards, my interest in developing ideas also produced IP acronym. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

Sow to Reap

Selfishness blind the hearts
Selfishness blind the minds
Full of self seeking
Without realizing
Greed, Hatred, Pride, Self justification grip the eyes
Nothing else satiates one’s void heart
These causing oneself
Groping in darkness
Sowing evil seeds
Evil ones torment oneself
Wicked living
Living in hell of conscience
Reaping unquenchable fire

Fear of the Lord open the hearts
Fear of the Lord open the minds
Full of caring others
Without realizing
Love, Care, Concern, Peace, Kindness, Goodness, Longsuffering,
Gentleness, Patience, Joy, Understanding, and Self Control grip the eyes
Nothing else satiates one’s full heart
These causing oneself
Brisk in the light
Sowing good seeds
Basking in God’s love
Righteous living
Living in paradise of conscience
Reaping heavenly rewards

Open your eyes
Which one is the best?
Choose what is best
What is your preference?
Any decision made?

Being in the bathroom is my favourite part of the day. It is when ideas and inspirations pop out such as images of poetry and stories. This time, “Groping in darkness Or Brisk in the light” popped out. Words flowed out upon revisiting it for two days being reminded of Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV), “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

“Fruitful trip” came when I was showering from a new job that the Lord blesses me. It is a fruitful trip for me to do the work I love. Finally, the Lord blesses me with a job after waiting for this job. This is a drawing job by darkening other artists’ work. Then I draw while I am waiting for my work. Normally, FT stands for full time and foreign talent, but this time FT stands for fruitful trip.

Inspiration On: Sunday, 30 June 2013 from 2:09am to 2:09pm

When the painful moment occurred, I was enjoying my play with my three years son. We were playing his favourite kitchen toy set. Dashing into my brother’s room to offer a cup of coffee. Running to and fro. Putting the pans back onto the stove. A quiet brute force knocked onto the back of my spine playfully. Extremely painful. Enough to let tears well up in my eyes. My mother in law appeared and scolded him. Leading him to run towards my mother, but she rebuked him gently. Dashed into my mother’s room. Hiding behind the bed feeling guilty (I guess). Upon the pain was gone, my hands lost strength when I attempted to turn door knob. Waiting for a few minutes, my strength returned. I gently spoke to my mother in law to let the matter rest since he is still young.

Approaching my guilt-stricken hiding son behind the bed, he seemed hesitant to come out. Fearful of his predicament. Thank God for the understanding that he is still so young and the compassion He instilled upon me. Embracing my son, gently reason with him, and explain spine was the most sensitive part of the body. Nobody should hit such vulnerable section. No hitting spine and don’t let anybody to hit his. Finally, he came out and embraced me.

Upon reflecting this in the midnight, I realised love is open and vulnerable. More words flowed out as I revisited this poetry and remembered Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV), “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”

Suddenly, “Lack Of Time” whacked me of its acronym. I have been wondering about it for a few days. According to dictionary lot means

  1. A large extent, amount, or number
  2. Used adverbially with a or in the plural to mean “to a great degree or extent” or “frequently”

Basically, the lack of time in spending time with God and in His Word will lead to a lot of disaster to our lives.

Galatians 5:22-24 (NLT)
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! The picture of a blooming flower spoke to me, “Bring forth the fruit”. The scripture in Psalm 126:4-6 “Restore our fortunes, Lord, like streams in the Negev. Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.” popped out to me and the part where Jesus talks about the parable of three servants with different talents in Matthew 25:14-30.

Writing Poetry & The Bible

Posted on

Writing poetry is likened to
Sowing seed into the soil
Awaiting for
A tree to sprout out
And bear fruits ripe enough
To bless the hungry.
The ripe poetry is
To bless the specific audience.

The Bible is also likened to
Sowing seed into the soil
Awaiting for
A tree to sprout out
And bear fruits ripe enough
To bring smile upon God’s face.
The ripe heart is ready
To be free
And
To bless others through good works.

Suddenly, the word, “seed” echoing in my mind as I was pondering in developing character that will please the Lord.

Inspiration from

  1. Galatians 5:22-24 (KJV)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
  2. Ephesians 5:9-11 (KJV)
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Produce & Gratitude

Posted on

Producing is an extremely time consuming process
It is liken to sow a seed
Gradually, the trees grow
Gradually, a bud of flowers grow
Gradually, the flowers blossom
Gradually, fruits come out of it
Gradually, flowers tween to fruits
Gradually, fruits are ripe
Result is liken to the harvest season

The reaper enjoys the harvest
The reaper enjoys the fruit
Within few seconds, the fruit is gone

Through years of life experiences
Books, films, and many other things are birthed and produced to fruition.

The readers, audiences and users enjoy the sowers’ fruits of labour.

Another time consuming process is the art of cooking
Numerous hours are spent at the kitchen
But the served-food is savoured and finished within a few minutes.

Gratitude is necessary in the recipients’ hearts.
Gratitude should be in humans’ hearts for God’s creation, which provides the raw ingredients.

As I was pondering how books, animations, films, paintings and illustrations, cooking, drawers, televisions, light bulbs, refrigerators, cars, household, electrical, mechanical, stationeries, and many other things.

The founders went through many trials and hardship in the research and development with numerous failures and few successful milestones which are remembered until today. New founders develop their potential through the old founders’ fruits of labour. Basically, without the old ideas, it is impossibility for new ideas to be developed.

Our ideas are found through the bountiful beautiful natural resources which humans tend to take it for granted. We are given the responsibility to care the earth for our own good (Genesis 2-3).

Playing Pointing Finger Game

To play pointing finger game
Baby turns out to point to things
To express his curiosity and
To express his needs, feelings, and wants.

To play pointing finger game
Helps baby to understand and to get
To know himself and his
Surroundings, environments, objects better and also to
Point the location to go.

To play pointing finger game
Can solve his dilemma to express oneself
And to avoid frustration to
Express so reduces his cries and wailings.

Playing pointing finger game is
The best way to learn more of
His or her own body.

Inspiration On: Monday, 30 January 2012

When my baby was around eight months old, I played a pointing finger game with him. I grasped his hand and use his finger to point himself by singing his name, and then point to myself to identify, “mama” to him. He is so excited and chuckled. Now, my baby is nineteen months often getting near the buttons to touch it. So this reminded me of the consequence of sin mentioned in Numbers 5:30-31; 9:12-14; 18:21-23; 30:14-16; Ezekiel 16:57-59; 23:34-36,48-49; 44:9-13.Afterwards, he often points to the aircon to signal my parents to switch it on, and points to cats and dogs on the streets to know what is its names.

In the Old Testament and New Testament, there are lots of Scriptures mentioning sowing and reaping. So whatever is taught to a child, it will bear fruit in the child because all a child do is to observe and follow what is done before his eyes. This makes me realize the importance of my heart and performance as my child’s good example. And I have been pondering about it and pray to the Lord on high to seek His wisdom in guiding the precious child He blesses me with.

My Heart is like A Garden

My heart is like a garden
For You to plant.
Plough the soil of my heart, O Lord.
Let it be a good soil.
Let the seed of Your Word
To take root in the
Deepest soil of my heart.

And grow into a big tree
Bearing good fruit.

To please You
To Love You
To live in Your love
by listening and following Your Word.

For Your glory, O Lord

Blaming Game

Life is full of uncertainties
Life is never fair

Everyone has their own stories and background
Some goes through difficult paths
Some have a blessed life
Some are born in a rich family
Some are born in a mediocre family
Some are born in a poor family
Some are born out of wedlock

We can not choose our own family

This world is full of blaming game
This world is full of blaming cycle
A cycle that is always repeated.
A never ending cycle.
Ever since the time of Adam and Eve.
Should we continue blaming?

No.
Stop the blaming.
Instead, we need to be responsible of our own actions.

Inspiration On: Saturday, 10 September 2011 at 11:25 pm

These words suddenly speak into my heart like there is an inner voice of my observation about life. So I quickly write it down to my paper. In the beginning of creation, Adam blamed Eve for eating the forbidden fruit and Eve blamed the serpent. (Genesis 3) Absalom blamed King David as an excuse of his revenge to kill Amnon and to usurp the throne. (2 Samuel 13-18).
