Peace in Grief

Posted on

In the stillness
I find

Peace comforts
My grieving heart
Grieved to the point of

Loss of hope in a
Newfound friend
Loss of hope in a
Longtime friend

Finding peace
To be
With the Lord

The feeling to write with my left hand returns. Yesterday’s memory ingrains an ache in my heart and mind. A newfound friend spoke harshly to me due to me being lack of experience. A long time friend was scared to confess so he passes it to me. The feeling of being caught in between is getting more unbearable until I cried to the Lord on my bed. At home and outside, I am caught in between. It’s so painful. Thus I spoke to that friend that his words and actions hurt me. As I was crying to the Lord, I find peace in Him. May this poetry comforts those who are caught in between. May you know that you are not alone. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

When agony came to my mind, suddenly the words “accumulated grievous” rhymed in my mind. Next day, words for O and N came. Then writer’s block came upon me until two days ago, one word per day to complete the above inspirations – “Numerous” and “Times”.
