Thinking of time, “ticking clock is running out” came and challenged me to define the remaining two letters. Thankful for God and Pat Cegan’s poetry at http://patcegan.wordpress.com/2013/11/20/more-time/ to help me to process this entrusted acrostic poetry. Praise God to finally get the right vocabulary to complete the empty letters. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you

Recently, ideas have been pouring out lately. Suddenly, these produced the acronym of IP. “In” is included because without input, there is no outpouring of ideas. Afterwards, my interest in developing ideas also produced IP acronym. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

Bible and heart inspired this poetry as I attempted to understand “out, in, on” the contrast it made. First stanza beautifully flowed out then next day, the second stanza birthed out of the first stanza.

FOC

FOC

Where do we place our faith in?
Who do we have faith with?
What is the substance of our faith?
When our faith begins in Jesus Christ?
How we come to place to our faith in Christ?

Suddenly, “Faith in Christ” gives the acronym of FIC. Changing its acronym to FOC challenges me. Thankfully, “only” word came. Normally, FOC stands for Free Of Charge.

In You

Posted on

In You, I lay my soul bare
In You, I lay me down
In You, I cry for Your help
In You, I seek Your face
In You, I seek Your joy
In You, I find rest
In You, I find peace
In You, I find my rest

In You
In You alone

This began with, “In You, I lay my soul bare” then I was lost with words. As I revisited it again, everything flowed out of my experiences.

Aim

Aim

Aim

What is our aim in life?
Who is our aim in life?
Is our aim in life align to God’s will?
Is our aim in life pleasing to God?
How do we reach our aim?
Where do we start our aim?
When do we plan our aim?
Pray and seek God.

John 12:46 KJV
I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me
should not abide in darkness.

John 14:16 KJV
And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever.

John 15:4-8 KJV
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me. I AM the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in Me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is My Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be My disciples.

Rough Tough

Rough paths
Tough life
Cough complaints of pains

Rough paths
Tough life
Bitterness creeps in from pains.

Rough paths
Tough life
Jealousy leaps out of the eyes.
Hearts seeking prey.
Hungry for power.
Hungry for control.
Thirst to hurt.

Rough paths
Tough life
With fear of the Lord
Flowers blossom beautifully

Rough paths
Tough life
With fear of the Lord
Fruits grow
Fruits ripen
Fruits are delicious
Where
Fruits bless the needy.

It all started with the words, “Rough, Tough, Cough”. Then it occurred to me about the book of Proverbs in comparing the righteous and the evil doers.
