Toolkit

What is our toolkit to keep in touch with our Lord Jesus Christ?
Prayer is our toolkit to keep in touch with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Pray is our toolkit to cross the barrier of sin.
Worshipping heart is our toolkit to cross the latch of lukewarm.

Seems that I just realized people tend to keep in touch via social media such as facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. As I think about it, it occurs upon me the above question and I do wonder everyone’s opinions. For me, I would prefer to meet in person though facebook helps in connecting with friends from other countries. Do please drop your opinions. We would love to hear from you.

Due to that, “lost in thoughts” came out of nowhere and suddenly the abbreviation came “lit”. Then it dawned upon me questioning, “How many times do we every lost in our thoughts about God?”

The above song suddenly played in my mind after reading two chapters of the book titled, “A Parent’s Guide to Preventing Homosexuality” and was going to sleep. It began from, “You are mine, I am Yours” then “For nobody can snatch you from My hand”. Slowly, more songs flows out.

Inspiration also comes from the word Jesus spoke in John 10:27-29 NIV, “My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

In You

In You, O Lord Jesus, I place my trust
Trusting the saving of my soul

In You I depend
In You I pray
In You I find peace
In You I find wisdom
In You I find strength
In You I find I can overcome
In You I find I can cross the mountain of obstacles

In You, O Lord
In You, O Lord
In You, I want to stay
In the shadows of Your wings.

Illusion of life

The illusion
The illusion of life
The illusion
The illusion of life

Life is full of illusions
Especially today’s generation
In the generation of technologies
In the generation of mass media

Life is full of illusions
As our eyes play tricks on us
The magicians play tricks upon our eyes
The cartoons we watch also play tricks upon our eyes
Flipping papers to trick our eyes
To trick our eyes to see it moving
Even the films and movies we watch also play tricks upon our eyes
Flying superman, Spiderman crawling the wall
How the rainbow is created.

There is more in this life
There is something more in the world we see
There is something more in the world we live
In this beautiful world we see
Full of different kind of living things
Full of mysteries
In the mystery of how it is crafted
In the mystery of how it begins

Let’s find the Crafter of this world.

In the middle of the night, suddenly, a song was singing in my mind that hums repeatedly, “The Illusion. The illusion of life.” And the remaining came on Friday morning and night as I jot it down on my notebook.

The fascination towards this world’s design and beauty let us wonder that there is something that we can not see. We can see it from the book of Ecclesiastes 3:11, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” There is Someone who perfectly crafted the world we live in though there is something wrong due to human’s decision to cause the fallen world with so many devastation and calamity.

Japanese Movie “Nada Sô Sô” (2006)

Yotaro lived sacrificially for his sister’s sake in order to keep his promise to his beloved mum before her deathbed, but he also work hard to earn income to fulfil his dream to open a restaurant.

On the day to open his dream restaurant, suddenly the real land owner appeared. Then he realized that Mr. Kameoka was a swindler. This ended him with a big debt to settle. His dream was dashed.

This shows he is a gentleman, responsible, honours his words, respectful, honest, and a hardworking man.

For the sake of paying his debts, he worked hard day and night until he lost his health. Despite his fever, for the sake of protecting his sister during typhoon, he ignored it and went to her rescue and lose his life at the age of 25.

This is indeed a love in action.

Suddenly, James Chapter 2 verse 17 to 20 came to my mind, “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?”

The first book of Corinthians Chapter 13 verse 4 to 7 speaks about love, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

My mind starts to wonder,
Is this what a disciple of Christ supposed to do?

James 2:17-20 “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

So the moral of the story is love in action.
