O Sleeper

Posted on

O sleeper
Wake up!
Arise!
Resurrect!
In the power of the Holy Spirit
Received upon accepting
Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour
Accepting His Lordship in your lives

O sleeper
Are you awakened?
Have you arisen from your sleep?
Do you resurrect from death?
Are you alive?

Praise God’s holy name
Worship Him
Declare His goodness
Count His blessings
Walk in His statutes, precepts and principles
Live in Him
Breath in Him
Depend on Him
As the branches are dependent on the vine
Trust Him to deliver
Bless His holy name
Above all
Fear and Love the Lord

Whenever I think of Lazarus and how Jesus raises the dead, “arise, resurrect” inspired me and birth out this poetry. God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Bore

Bore

~ Hikari Yori

Smeared conscience with sins
Sins bore a hole into our lives
Sins bore a psychological hole into our mind
Stopping us from living life to the full
Removing us from our identity in Christ
Bringing shame
A whip of pain on our consciences
Throughout our lives
No wonder Jesus often heal the sick saying, “Thy sins are forgiven”
Accept this forgiveness by faith

~ Tojiru Yoshiko

Matthew 9:2 (KJV)
And, behold, they brought to Him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.

Matthew 9:5 (KJV)
For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

Mark 2:5 (KJV)
When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.

Mark 2:9 (KJV)
Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?

Luke 5:20 (KJV)
And when He saw their faith, He said unto him, “Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.”

Luke 5:23 (KJV)
Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?

Luke 7:47 (KJV)
Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

Luke 7:48 (KJV)
And He said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

John 5:14 (KJV)
Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

Suddenly, “Bent on revenge” came after I wrote Bod. So inserting letter E will produce the acronym of bore meaning
1. To make a hole in or through, with or as if with a drill.
2. To form (a tunnel, for example) by drilling, digging, or burrowing.

The gospels inspired my poetry image journey in my mind.

Aim

Aim

What is our aim in life?
Do we abide in the Lord Jesus Christ when we are blessed and face
difficulties?
When do we find the time to renew our dwelling in Him?
Who is our aim?

Suddenly, three words from John 15:4, “Abide in Me, and I in you. As a branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless you abide in Me” spoke to me and it produced the acronym of AIM. It is speaking our aim in life. As I ponder it again, another definition for AIM came “Another Interesting Mine” and still need to polish more. The dictionary defines aim as to strive; to intend; to direct efforts as towards an object; to intend or direct for a particular effect or purpose. We can abound in the Lord to go through life’s struggle and live life to the full.

Two

Two

Two

No truths can be covered forever.
One day, the cat will be out of the bag.

John 3:19-21 (KJV)
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

According to dictionary, two means one plus one. In idiom, in two means into two separate parts, as halves; put two and two together means to draw a correct conclusion from the given circumstances; infer. Even though truths are covered more than two people, one day it will come to light.

Aim

Aim

Aim

What is our aim in life?
Who is our aim in life?
Is our aim in life align to God’s will?
Is our aim in life pleasing to God?
How do we reach our aim?
Where do we start our aim?
When do we plan our aim?
Pray and seek God.

John 12:46 KJV
I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me
should not abide in darkness.

John 14:16 KJV
And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever.

John 15:4-8 KJV
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me. I AM the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in Me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is My Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be My disciples.
