The Lord’s Presence Brings Joy

Posted on

Eating simple vegetable soup with noodle
Being alone at home with a maid
Sensing the Lord’s presence
Brings so much
Peace and joy

Missing the Lord’s presence so much
Worship songs continually
Minister to my heart to
Sing praises and worship to my
Lord and Saviour

Though I am financially stripped
Inside I feel the fountain of
Freedom from the
Yoke of oppression
Awaiting to play melody for written songs

The joy in the Lord to feel His presence and joy despite my husband chooses not to answer my text message to join our son and him for dinner at a restaurant. Reading the book about Social Entrepreneurship and answering the ten questions make me laugh. It is the question of I receive a mentor. It is the Lord’s doing to meet my business mentor. I have been remembering my interactions with her and the recent way she replies. I thank her for contacting BL to encourage me. She didn’t and told me, “You always assume…..!” My response, “Aren’t you often assume too and jump to conclusions?” is enough to trigger her sound like a kid too. “Sounds like a kid arguing. I can debate with you! Give me a case and I will clear with you”. My question, “What case, lawyer?” Thinking of this makes me laugh again especially her denial of her own age is considered senior citizen. Siti also laughs.

Completing the token of appreciation to my business mentor and write little poetry based on the meaning of her name.

More at God’s presence post.

God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

I realized that I’m in a difficult period of my life phase in mental and financial issues. The news of widows in financial dire scared me off. The current job I did doesn’t pay much. It will not be enough per month if my husband loses his job. Though his pay isn’t that high, it is still enough to pay for our daily expenses. Everyday, I bring it to prayer with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6). But I’m still struggling in my ministry, family and work commitments. I begin to wonder do I set own expectations too high. But I don’t want to compromise it because I want to hear the praises from Jesus (Matthew 25:21) at the end of my life. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

Bible and heart inspired this poetry as I attempted to understand “out, in, on” the contrast it made. First stanza beautifully flowed out then next day, the second stanza birthed out of the first stanza.

Dove in Love

Posted on

Love from God descends upon Mary’s womb like a
Dove descends upon Jesus Christ after His baptism

Holy Spirit comes from God to strengthen us in love
Holy Spirit is manifested in the form of a gentle dove

Dove is a soft and gentle bird so let us
Love one another as Jesus has loved us

Since Lord Jesus’ love fill our aching hearts
Let us be like a dove, which is gentle in nature

Then this world is injected with love and care
Where no fight among people as dove dwells peacefully

Then this world will be filled with God’s peace and joy
Warmth fills everyone’s hearts who hungers love

Love captured my attention and my mind went through brain’s vocabulary. “Dove” is the best rhyming words due to its character traits.

All these are common traits in us

My 39 months son pulled a strand of his dad’s white hair. Next day, he was looking for it but gave up due to too much white hair among the black hair. He was worried to pluck the black and the white hair at the same time. Upon observing this scene, this birthed out this poetry.

Upon writing this, I realized why people tend to take advantage of me. I talk too much of my weaknesses instead of my strengths. But I found my strengths from my good friends and friends. My weaknesses seem too clear for me without realizing others. No wonder I have low self confidence. Even though with my low self confidence, I find strength in Christ and to persevere. Gradually, my hard work pays off when I see my improvements. God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Modern Era

Entering the modern era
Liberalism are enforced
Parting money in order to earn more money
Unlike olden days where bartering is enforced

Focus on money blinds the heart
Focus on money crime rate increases
Focus on money lead to selfishness
Focus of money kills conscience
Focus on money lead to dishonest gains
Fearful, hungry, and thirsty hearts
Smeared conscience
Living fearfully
Darkness envelops whole beings
Devil instigates and continually lies to the minds
Evil reigns and feet rush to evil

Unless focus on the Creator
Trust in Him
Following His statutes and ordinances as our worship to our Saviour
Earning money is gained honestly as our worship to our Lord
Love, Care and concern in the community
Remaining in His love
Basked in His bountiful love
Joyful dance in expressing our love to our Lord
Hearts are free from fear
Continuum peaceful and satisfied hearts
Righteousness prevails
No foothold for the devil to reign

Suddenly, defining voice challenge me. “Vibrant” came for remembering the knowledge during my school days. Voice comes due to the vibrancy of vocal chords in the throat. Then shouts of praise depicted in the Bible and self reflection came to mind.

“When you choose to make a sound; the air causes the vocal chords vibrate, and the sound continues up and out through the mouth.” according to http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_is_the_voice_produced.

Inspiration On: Sunday, 30 June 2013 from 2:09am to 2:09pm

When the painful moment occurred, I was enjoying my play with my three years son. We were playing his favourite kitchen toy set. Dashing into my brother’s room to offer a cup of coffee. Running to and fro. Putting the pans back onto the stove. A quiet brute force knocked onto the back of my spine playfully. Extremely painful. Enough to let tears well up in my eyes. My mother in law appeared and scolded him. Leading him to run towards my mother, but she rebuked him gently. Dashed into my mother’s room. Hiding behind the bed feeling guilty (I guess). Upon the pain was gone, my hands lost strength when I attempted to turn door knob. Waiting for a few minutes, my strength returned. I gently spoke to my mother in law to let the matter rest since he is still young.

Approaching my guilt-stricken hiding son behind the bed, he seemed hesitant to come out. Fearful of his predicament. Thank God for the understanding that he is still so young and the compassion He instilled upon me. Embracing my son, gently reason with him, and explain spine was the most sensitive part of the body. Nobody should hit such vulnerable section. No hitting spine and don’t let anybody to hit his. Finally, he came out and embraced me.

Upon reflecting this in the midnight, I realised love is open and vulnerable. More words flowed out as I revisited this poetry and remembered Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV), “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”

Poll

Part and parcel of life shows to us clearly
Overcome our difficulties and strife through
Living in the joy of the Lord and in the strength of Christ
Life will be lived to the full.

Nehemiah 8:10 (KJV)
The joy of the LORD is your strength.

Luke 22:32 (KJV)
But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Philippians 4:12-14 (KJV)
I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

1 Peter 5:9-11 (KJV)
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

“Part of Life” struck my mind. After thought about its acronym, add another L will produce the acronym POLL. According to dictionary, poll means

Usually, polls. the place where votes are taken.

Poetry Burst Forth & Gushes Out

As the pool of water burst to bubbles,
Poetries burst forth from life experiences
Poetries burst forth in my walk of faith
Poetries burst forth through observations
Poetries gush out from our inner-self
Poetries gush out from our hearts
Poetries gush out from our minds
Poetries of poetry
Telling every detail

Every detail of events
Every details of actions
Every detail of wishes
Every detail of dreams
Every detail of pains
Every detail of despairs
Every detail of sorrows
Every detail of tragedies
Every detail of joy
Every detail of love
Every detail of hope.

All these burst forth.
All these gush out.

The picture of a blooming flower spoke to me, “Bring forth the fruit”. The scripture in Psalm 126:4-6 “Restore our fortunes, Lord, like streams in the Negev. Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.” popped out to me and the part where Jesus talks about the parable of three servants with different talents in Matthew 25:14-30.

Prayer for Israel

Oh Lord
The Lord God of Israel
Please bring Your peace
Let Your peace to reign
To reign upon Israel, Your chosen nation
Let Your peace to reign in their hearts
Amidst the tribulations they go through
All we can do is pray for them

Through them we hear good news
Through them we receives salvation in Jesus Christ
Through them we are saved
Through them we are blessed
Through them we find peace in our hearts
Through them our hearts are filled with joy

We gives You praise
We give thanks to You
We give glory to You.

The Gate

The Gate opens
Welcome me into His flock
My heart feel touched,
With His warm welcome

Willingly, I join the flock.
My heart feels at ease.
My heart is at peace.
My heart leaps for joy.
Why does my heart is filled with joy?.

Because I have Someone whom I can depend on
Because I’m no longer lonely
Because I feel loved
Because I have Someone whom I can confide with
Because I have found the purpose of my life
Because I find redemption in Him
Because His presence fills my loneliness
Because His Word consoles my weary heart.

Because of the Gate
Because of Love
Because of the Beloved One
The One sent from heaven
Because of Him
Because of Jesus Christ
Who invites me to be His friend..

Under whose shadow do I want to hide?
Under the shadow of fear?
Under the shadow of envy?
Under the shadow of bitterness?
Under the shadow of anger?
Under the shadow of hatred?
Under the shadow of emptiness?
Under the shadow of hopelessness?

No, NO!
I don’t want to live under those shadows.
But I feel powerless to do so.

Oh I wish to live…
Under the shadow of hope.
Under the shadow of joy.
Under the shadow of love.
Under the shadow of peace.

Where is that shadow?
Where can I find such shadow?
Where is the shadow of light that I longed for?
Where?
Where?!

To Live Is CHRIST

Posted on

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. – Philippians 1:21 [KJV]

To live is Christ.
We live in this world is to share
the love of GOD through LORD JESUS CHRIST
and to share our joy in tasting the love from CHRIST JESUS.
That’s why we lived in this world and even to mature in Christ.

To die is to gain.
When we die, we will meet LORD JESUS face to face and
we will be staying in the
mansions of heaven prepared by LORD JESUS CHRIST for us.
