The gospel stated the betrayer kissed Jesus
Books afterwards stated holy kiss in love
Different people focus
Focus on
Different sides of the Bible
Rather than balancing it

Balance the two sides
To pursue godliness
Living in the truth
To flee from evil
Without giving the devil a foothold

Today, my husband wants to discuss about our son’s issue and wants me to call my dad. We discuss together. Dad discusses his mother’s psychological issue. Then he points out his own weaknesses and strengths then my husband’s. He can do work with his own hands than my husband. However, my husband is very good in talking but can’t do. My analysis is my dad can talk who encourages others to improve. But my husband doesn’t. He just wants to get his own way and is ready to remove those who get in his way. He dares to say I didn’t go to Sabah with him when his brother passed away two years ago. Then I scold him that he was the one who mentioned no need to go due our son was very young then.

I begin to speak up on my husband’s aching and cursing words. The church teaches to greet each other in kiss after quarrel. His judgments of me based from the Bible was Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus. However, the Bible mentioned to forgive each other and greet each other with kisses. Thus I do so to him. However, he interpreted it as going to betray him. When he massaged and nagged at my lifestyle, I lose my temper and share about upsets. When I make mistakes, he is ready to put me down. The correct ones are not being appreciated. When he wants to discuss with me about Huey, I am tired and want to rest early.

Throughout this, I begin to understand my husband and myself. I tend to see people’s good side and the learning to balance both sides of the Bible.

May this bless you and improve your walk in the Lord.

Loud Cry then keep still
Keep still as the gynae put beside
Beside the mother’s hospital mobile-bed
Congratulate the welcome of the newborn life
A joyous occasion for family.

As months passes by swiftly
Rattling the noisy toys with colourful pictures
Banging tables, pots and pans
Hugging, tugging, and pushing favourite soft toys
Poking its eyes, nose, mouth
Kissing it then throw it onto floor
Watching what will happen next.

Incomprehensible blabber trying to speak
In response to parents and express oneself
With limited sounds being produced

More patient guidance is essential
Holding hand how to point to express
Expression begins through pointing fingers

Through striving hard to listen
Single words come out of mouth
A new beginning for baby

As the body muscles strengthen
Slowly, one control movements through rolling bosy
Hands grab to stand up
Assisting him to walk step by step
Upon mastering that one step
One step leads to a few steps
Letting go of one’s hands

Delighted with own walking steps
Increasing more steps and soeed it up
Running, jumping exploring the house
Climbing the window bar to observe outdoors
Having fun and full of joy
To be in control of own’s bosy
Perseverance is the only way
To improve in order to grow up
By observing the adults’actions

Listen the words and try
To pronounce it numerous times with determination
Correct and re-correct until correct

As vocabulary grows then can
Form sentences by using different learnt words
Talks a lot and being
Deemed talkative because plentiful words of expression
With body gestures and actions
But always get a rebuke

Climbing onto chairs to explore
The objects on tables and touch it
Say pen then grab it
Spank lands onto toddler’s butt
Toddler treats it as nothing but parents
Do it for toddler’s good

How many times do we resent our parents’ discipline for our own good? God has mentioned the ways to please Him and for Israelites own good, but they received the consequences of their own actions, which was disobedience. See the book of Deuteronomy chapter 12 verse 27 to 29.
