Ephesians 6:10-18 (KJV)
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of
faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

Hikari Yori
This acrostic idea came when I shredding paper. Since SP didn’t give any meaning, inserting “i” seemed suitable letter candidate than “a”. Sip gives the meaning of drinking and dwelling in Christ’s strength and protection. According to the free online dictionary, sip means
1. To drink in small quantities
2. A small quantity of liquid sipped

Tojiru Yoshiko
Upon thinking of sip and Yori’s idea, shield of faith verses inspired my poetry. Graphical design will help to illustrate this message better.

Tienny The
Designing the sip graphically challenged me. I feel to make the small letter “i” signify human’s frailty needing God’s grace and mercy. Then integrity will follow.

Ever since, I got married and have baby, the new job I took cause more piling tasks to clear and the need to spend time with my son. I have been rushing to work, home, attend my son, my parents who need helps, and even my mother in law. The feeling of living in a rush does tires me down. Suddenly, those four words produced the acronym LIAR. I do wonder how lies are related to rush living. Then another phrase of words came and it is a more precise definition. Somehow, I dig myself more to realize I feel miserable to please my parents, husband, child and in law. Do I care too much for them and neglect myself? Hoping the best for them, but I almost ended with no career life for myself.

Selfishness blind the hearts
Selfishness blind the minds
Full of self seeking
Without realizing
Greed, Hatred, Pride, Self justification grip the eyes
Nothing else satiates one’s void heart
These causing oneself
Groping in darkness
Sowing evil seeds
Evil ones torment oneself
Wicked living
Living in hell of conscience
Reaping unquenchable fire

Fear of the Lord open the hearts
Fear of the Lord open the minds
Full of caring others
Without realizing
Love, Care, Concern, Peace, Kindness, Goodness, Longsuffering,
Gentleness, Patience, Joy, Understanding, and Self Control grip the eyes
Nothing else satiates one’s full heart
These causing oneself
Brisk in the light
Sowing good seeds
Basking in God’s love
Righteous living
Living in paradise of conscience
Reaping heavenly rewards

Open your eyes
Which one is the best?
Choose what is best
What is your preference?
Any decision made?

Being in the bathroom is my favourite part of the day. It is when ideas and inspirations pop out such as images of poetry and stories. This time, “Groping in darkness Or Brisk in the light” popped out. Words flowed out upon revisiting it for two days being reminded of Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV), “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

Many of us fall in love life
Blinded by the lovers in our eyes
Next thing, fall out from love
That love turn to hate

Our Creator loves us
Jesus, the Son of God, lives out His love for us
Can’t we accept that love and loved by the God of Love?
