Where do our hearts are caught in between?
Love of relationship or love of mammon?

Matthew 6:32-34 (KJV)
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Suddenly, “caught in between” gave me the idea of an acronym. Inserting R will give meaning to it where it is hard to be restrained especially between the conflicts of two parties at war in our hearts. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

I realized that I’m in a difficult period of my life phase in mental and financial issues. The news of widows in financial dire scared me off. The current job I did doesn’t pay much. It will not be enough per month if my husband loses his job. Though his pay isn’t that high, it is still enough to pay for our daily expenses. Everyday, I bring it to prayer with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6). But I’m still struggling in my ministry, family and work commitments. I begin to wonder do I set own expectations too high. But I don’t want to compromise it because I want to hear the praises from Jesus (Matthew 25:21) at the end of my life. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

How many times a day do we seek God’s cleansing of our hearts?
To incline our will according to His will

Matthew 26:41 (NIV)
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Matthew 26:42 (KJV)
He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, Thy will be done.

Finally, I brought my mother and son out to a plaza for a walk. After busy for work, I felt refreshed going out. In the restaurant, my mother habitually wipes chopsticks and spoons with tissue. My dad considers her being too clean. Then “Cleaning Department” came to me producing acronym CD.

Perpetual recharge is necessary for
Spiritual need and dependency upon Lord Jesus Christ
Through the Holy Spirit and the Word of God
Without it, we will be blinded by sins and fall into devil’s trap

Deuteronomy 8:3 (NIV)
He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.

Matthew 4:4 (NIV)
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

Luke 4:4 (NIV)

“Continual Recharge” came as I was going to recharge my electronic device. The need to recharge it daily made my mind wonder that I need to continually recharge from God. Then the word “perpetual” came.

Bore

Bore

~ Hikari Yori

Smeared conscience with sins
Sins bore a hole into our lives
Sins bore a psychological hole into our mind
Stopping us from living life to the full
Removing us from our identity in Christ
Bringing shame
A whip of pain on our consciences
Throughout our lives
No wonder Jesus often heal the sick saying, “Thy sins are forgiven”
Accept this forgiveness by faith

~ Tojiru Yoshiko

Suddenly, “Bent on revenge” came after I wrote Bod. So inserting letter E will produce the acronym of bore meaning
1. To make a hole in or through, with or as if with a drill.
2. To form (a tunnel, for example) by drilling, digging, or burrowing.

The gospels inspired my poetry image journey in my mind.

Big

How big is the family of God?
How big is the kingdom of God?
The Apostle Peter preached in the power of the Holy Spirit
Three thousand people are added into the kingdom of God
How much more when each of us save one soul from the eternal fire

Matthew 18:19-20 (NIV)
Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in My Name, there AM I with them.”

Acts 2:40-42 (NIV)
With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
