Pray to the Lord
Trusting the Lord
With hearts and minds
Doing own best
I will deliver thee
Thou shalt not be given into
The hand of men
Whom thou art afraid
I will surely deliver thee
Thou shalt not fall by the sword
Thy life shall be a prey unto thee
Because thou hast put thy trust in Me
Saith the Lord

Jeremiah 39 helps me to understand about God. The Lord spoke to the Israelites through the prophet Jeremiah. Second and third stanza comes from verse 17 to 18. These two verses speak to me the importance to trust in the Lord during my tumultuous times. Likewise, the Lord continually deliver those who put their trust in Him. This really comforts my heart to continually trust in Him. Proverbs 3 also explain the importance of trusting the Lord in whatever we do.

Suddenly, the idea of defining con acronym came “Caught Off Guard” except for letter n. According to the free dictionary, con means
- involving abuse of confidence; deceitfully manipulative: a con trick.
- to swindle; trick.
- to persuade by deception, cajolery, etc.
Li>a confidence game or swindle.
- a lie, exaggeration, or glib self-serving talk.
Yori’s acrostic poetry gave me the visual idea of the devil’s deception described by Jesus in the book of gospel. After communicating with Yiri cia email, inspirations flowed out as I continued writing it down.

Entering the modern era
Liberalism are enforced
Parting money in order to earn more money
Unlike olden days where bartering is enforced
Focus on money blinds the heart
Focus on money crime rate increases
Focus on money lead to selfishness
Focus of money kills conscience
Focus on money lead to dishonest gains
Fearful, hungry, and thirsty hearts
Darkness envelops whole beings
Devil instigates and continually lies to the minds
Evil reigns and feet rush to evil
Unless focus on the Creator
Trust in Him
Following His statutes and ordinances as our worship to our Saviour
Earning money is gained honestly as our worship to our Lord
Love, Care and concern in the community
Remaining in His love

Being in the bathroom is my favourite part of the day. It is when ideas and inspirations pop out such as images of poetry and stories. This time, “Groping in darkness Or Brisk in the light” popped out. Words flowed out upon revisiting it for two days being reminded of Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV), “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

My son purposely slowed down and refused to change his clothes. He particularly hates a seat cover and named it “teeth”. On Sunday, our guest bought him that seat cover. Its roughness gave the feeling of teeth. Suddenly, a light bulb appeared in my mind. Scaring him that the “teeth” asked me to let it out of the storeroom to jump around the living room. Fearful noise and look, he speedily changed to pyjamas and entered the room. Unexpectedly, he talked about this to his dad. He questioned me what is “teeth”. Using my body language to ask him to sing the same tune as me. Upon reflecting this, the above poetry flowed out.
When I heard of Yoshiko’s story, “Play along” came and produced the acronym of PA, which stands for Public Announcement.

Matthew 5:14-16 (KJV)
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
John 12:28 (KJV)
Father, glorify Thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
John 17:1 (KJV)
These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify Thy Son, that Thy Son also may glorify Thee
John 17:5 (KJV)
And now, O Father, glorify Thou Me with Thine own Self with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was.

During my observation and analysis of people’s minds and thinking, the above poetry flowed out gradually. Recently, I met a two headed snake person. After getting to know her for five years, I begin to see her true colours. At first, I can’t believe she is that type of person. Feeling pity towards her due to her broken marriage. Her face towards my parents and siblings is of a hate. But her face seems nice to me and wants to help me out. Upon hearing the truth of her treatment towards other people and analyze it, fears and disappointments towards her reigned in me. Why would the Lord to let me meet such people? All I can do is bring this to my Lord, take precautions and pray peace upon her heart according to the prayer Jesus’ mentioned in Matthew 6.
The second stanza was inspired from Philippians 4:6-9 (KJV), “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.“

Whenever I think of my source of income, its acronym is SOI. There seems to have no meaning in it so inserting L is the best. It signifies the soil of our heart. The dictionary describes soil as
- The top layer of the earth’s surface, consisting of rock and mineral particles mixed with organic matter.
- A particular kind of earth or ground: sandy soil.
- Country; land: native soil.
- The agricultural life: a man of the soil.
- A place or condition favorable to growth; a breeding ground.

This sharing may sound quite absurd and extreme. This was during my teenage years when I was 17 years old and pre-believer phase of life. Playing cards is fun with my family. Whoever loses will shuffle the cards and/or drink water. But when I play with my friends, the one who lose will drink water. After three rounds, they choose to play with money by betting ten cents. The winner will get ten cents from every player. From then on, I refuse to join whenever it involves money. So I just sat there and watch them play. This is because I feel that gambling starts from small.
Sin also starts from small. Saving money also starts from small amounts. Small amounts accumulated consistently will make a big mountain.

“He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. Howbeit in vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And He said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.”
John 1:1-18 (KJV)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto his own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of Him, and cried, saying, This was He of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for He was before me. And of His fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him.
