Op

Op

Do we purposely do operations upon ourselves to instill sin?
Or do we purposely to learn to live holy life to please our Lord?
To love the Saviour of our souls?

Suddenly, “on purpose” came when I was observing a teenager flipping his thick novel book towards the first chapter. Skipping the prologue section. Then I realize that our Creator showed to us the Bible telling the beginning of mankind and the ending. Usually, Op is the acronym of overpowered, original poster, and even operations.

Cop

Cop

We worship an immense powerful God
The God who creates the entire universe
Take heart to those who
Fear the Lord

Initially, “Power of God” came then the idea of adding “behold” was reminded from the Bible. Since the acronym didn’t make a word, I wondered to change letter G to other letter. After much thought, C seemed the best letter since C stands for Creator.

Toxin to Nerve

Posted on

Shattered and tattered confidence
For losing the battle
The battlefield of mind
To withstand temptations
Someone is
Losing self-confidence
Losing nerve
To live in this hopeless world
To live in this competitive world

Frustration sets in
Jealousy enters from eyes
Boiling with resentment
Brimming with anger
Heart starts to beat very fast
Whole body feels very tense
Nerves tweak tightly
Nervous
The situation is really
That person is really
Getting on someone’s nerve.

STOP!
Do not do anything rash.
Remove the toxins!

I have been questioning the reason of the idiom “getting on my nerve” so I checked it from the dictionary. Then another idiom, which is the antonym of it (second paragraph), inspired me. The second paragraph was birthed out first, but it seemed like the sequel of the first paragraph. Manga is the source of inspiration where I can see different characters in different situation. Kare-Kano is one of them.

The above poetry is trying to depict someone who has a competitive spirit and dislike people who are better than them. The first and second paragraphs are from the second person point of view. Last paragraph is from the third person point of view, a close friend.

Playing Button

Playing switch on off button
Switching light on then off and repeat
It again in order to
Amaze and soothe his or her cries
But it will lead the
Baby to turn out to take pleasure
In touching buttons without knowing
Its electrical danger upon oneself

Running around the house to
Play power switch buttons at the surroundings
Wherever baby can find at
His sight, without realizing its danger implication

Whenever remove baby from touching
Baby will be irritated, annoyed, infuriated, and
Smoke emerged out from head
He or she is fumed with anger!
From sob turns to weeping
From weeping to wailing then to shriek
And finally to shouting in
order to get his or
her way even though to no avail
Hence, history repeats itself daily.

The caregiver of my baby plays the lights’ buttons in order to entertain my eight months old baby. Now, my baby is nineteen months often getting near the buttons to touch it. So this reminded me of the consequence of sin mentioned in Numbers 5:30-31; 9:12-14; 18:21-23; 30:14-16; Ezekiel 16:57-59; 23:34-36,48-49; 44:9-13.
