Thinking of time, “ticking clock is running out” came and challenged me to define the remaining two letters. Thankful for God and Pat Cegan’s poetry at http://patcegan.wordpress.com/2013/11/20/more-time/ to help me to process this entrusted acrostic poetry. Praise God to finally get the right vocabulary to complete the empty letters. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you

Inspiration On: Wednesday, 20 November 2013 from 8:45pm to 9:09pm

Recently, ideas have been pouring out lately. Suddenly, these produced the acronym of IP. “In” is included because without input, there is no outpouring of ideas. Afterwards, my interest in developing ideas also produced IP acronym. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

Bible and heart inspired this poetry as I attempted to understand “out, in, on” the contrast it made. First stanza beautifully flowed out then next day, the second stanza birthed out of the first stanza.

Living out God’s Word is essential to

Root

Root

Do we run out of time doing the work that is pleasing to our Lord?

Or do we run out of time chasing after vanity?

Inspiration On: Saturday, 29 June 2013 from 12:01am to 2:43am

I have been running out of time to juggle in ministry, finding work and family. So tentatively, those four words produce the acronym of root. The dictionary defines root as
1. To grow roots or a root.
2. To become firmly established, settled, or entrenched.
3. To come into existence; originate.

Two

Two

Two

No truths can be covered forever.
One day, the cat will be out of the bag.

John 3:19-21 (KJV)
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Inspiration On: Wednesday, 10 April 2013 at 3:11am

According to dictionary, two means one plus one. In idiom, in two means into two separate parts, as halves; put two and two together means to draw a correct conclusion from the given circumstances; infer. Even though truths are covered more than two people, one day it will come to light.

Ego

Ego

Ego

Is ego or pride stopping us from reaching out to God?
Is ego or pride blinding us to the Truth?
Is ego or pride covering our eyes to see the world’s brokenness?
Is ego or pride covering our eyes to see our own frailty?
Is ego or pride preventing us from reflecting upon our motivations?
So can’t we push our ego aside?

Inspiration On: Saturday, 16 March 2013 at 1:51am

In dictionary, ego means
1. the “I” or self of any person; a person as thinking, feeling, and willing, and distinguishing itself from the selves of others and from objects of its thought.
2. Psychoanalysis . the part of the psychic apparatus that experiences and reacts to the outside world and thus mediates between the primitive drives of the id and the demands of the social and physical environment.
3. egotism; conceit; self-importance: Her ego becomes more unbearable each day.
4. self-esteem or self-image; feelings: Your criticism wounded his ego.
5. (often initial capital letter) Philosophy

  • the enduring and conscious element that knows experience.
  • Scholasticism. the complete person comprising both body and soul.

Albert Einstein did mention,
“More the knowledge
Lesser the ego,
Lesser the knowledge
More the Ego”

Basically, ego means “I” is more important and what is inside will come out. Some people will tend to praise themselves and look down upon people by finding their faults. Until to the point that I can’t stand them and telling a friend to try to look at people’s goodness side. Nobody is perfect.

Guilt

Guilt

Guilt

Guilt will enter when we continually sin.
Sin against God and people.
Is guilt good for us?
Will guilt wears us down?
There is two sides of it.
Guilt can paralyse us and knock us down.
Guilt can point to us what is wrong with our motivations and actions.
Therefore, we can correct ourselves through God’s help and strength.
Lord Jesus Christ can help us if we are willing to put our effort as well.

Hebrews 10:1-3 (KJV)
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

Hebrews 10:21-23 (KJV)
And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;)

Inspiration On: Wednesday, 13 March 2013 at 12:58pm

According to advanced learner’s dictionary, guilt means

  1. The unhappy feelings caused by knowing or thinking that you have done something wrong
  2. The fact that somebody has done something illegal
  3. Blame or responsibility for doing something wrong or for something bad that has happened.

Obviously, guilt is like a trash in us that need to be cleared and removed completely from it.

Poetry Burst Forth & Gushes Out

Posted on

As the pool of water burst to bubbles,
Poetries burst forth from life experiences
Poetries burst forth in my walk of faith
Poetries burst forth through observations
Poetries gush out from our inner-self
Poetries gush out from our hearts
Poetries gush out from our minds
Poetries of poetry
Telling every detail

Every detail of events
Every details of actions
Every detail of wishes
Every detail of dreams
Every detail of pains
Every detail of despairs
Every detail of sorrows
Every detail of tragedies
Every detail of joy
Every detail of love
Every detail of hope.

All these burst forth.
All these gush out.

Writer’s block came upon me after I wrote down my imagination, “As the pool of water burst to bubbles, Poetries burst forth from life experiences. Poetries burst forth in my walk of faith”. But the rest of the words flowed out while I was accompanying my mother to a community dinner.

Aborted & Abandoned Babies

I’m lovely, I’m cute . . .

I’m lovely, I’m cute . . .

I’m lovely, I’m cute . . .
But do not abort me on impulse!
I’m lovely, I’m cute . . .
But do not treat me as a lifeless object!
A lifeless object to be tossed around.
I’m lovely, I’m cute . . .
But I want your love!
I’m lovely, I’m cute . . .
But I want your attention!

Please handle me with care.
Please handle me with love.
For I am fragile.
My heart is fragile.
Fragile.

When I accompanied my toddler with my husband to let him observe hamsters (not buying), a slogan gave me an inspiration. Before I leave the store, “I’m lovely, I’m cute . . . But do not buy me on impulse!” instils me an inspiration. Not knowing the inspired notion and words to write, I quickly note it down then I chase after my husband and my toddler who left the pet store. Next day is the birth of the above inspiration. It is very heartbreaking to see and hear abortion, abandonment, and murder of unwanted babies due to pregnancy out of wedlock.

Bomb

Bomb

Bomb

When we are burnt out
Our body will emit bizarre symptoms
Headache, stomach pain, loss of energy, lower body system
It is time to take care of our own bodies.

While I was returning home and caught under the rain, suddenly “burn out” came and how it is related to an exploding bomb. On Sunday, “more bizarrely” came upon me.

The wording came on Monday to realise that some symptoms occur upon me and I was reminded of the Scripture from 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NIV), “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

As I was cycling to buy groceries, reminiscing younger days and now, how I wish to know the Lord earlier. Since young I was struggling to learn to cycle, but futile attempts and often fall onto the sands. Now, the Lord enables me how to stay balance and even begin to cycle with one hand.

Lately, I was frustrated with my career thriving hard in learning and pick up the skills I need. My parents advised to find and focus on what I specialize in. Not just that, my parents told me to get married first before I was established in my career. Nine months later, my baby boy came out. Meanwhile, my peers are established in their careers then have family.

Feeling down and disappointed with myself. How to provide for my parents in their old age? Even though they say they have enough, my heart is filled with gratitude for them to take care and bringing me up. They are God’s blessing to me. I hope to take care of them and bring them joy before they leave this world. And I wish to be strong.

Enormous responsibilities are pressuring upon me. Sometimes, my heart grows weary and cries out to my Heavenly Father. Next day, His comfort is upon me and He enables me to persevere amidst all these tribulations.

An ink that will never dry out

An ink that will never dry out
But the battery energy will drain out

An energy that will never dry out
It will be lost by night
Unless have the storage panel
It is usable within storage limits

All these energy usage are needed for the earth’s goodness.
The best transition phase
To reduce and diminish harm towards the ozone layer.

It’s our responsibility
To care
The earth
Entrusted in our care

Till He comes again.

While highlighting the point of reading the book by Tommy Tenney titled “God’s Eye View”, the ink of my highlighter slowly fades away and the ink slowly dries out as I was reading the beginning of chapter 5. In my heart, I wish to have “An ink that will never dry out”. To have such case, it is to use computer to read eBooks where I can highlight with an unending ink.

The second paragraph is interpreting how the new research development solar energy works. This inspiration came on Tuesday, 3 July around 2:05am upon writing down the second line of the first paragraph.

As it is important to care for the earth, which the Lord has entrusted in our care, we need to take action in our littlest actions. Everyone’s littlest effort will make a big difference.

Playing Pointing Finger Game

To play pointing finger game
Baby turns out to point to things
To express his curiosity and
To express his needs, feelings, and wants.

To play pointing finger game
Helps baby to understand and to get
To know himself and his
Surroundings, environments, objects better and also to
Point the location to go.

To play pointing finger game
Can solve his dilemma to express oneself
And to avoid frustration to
Express so reduces his cries and wailings.

Playing pointing finger game is
The best way to learn more of
His or her own body.

When my baby was around eight months old, I played a pointing finger game with him. I grasped his hand and use his finger to point himself by singing his name, and then point to myself to identify, “mama” to him. He is so excited and chuckled. Now, my baby is nineteen months often getting near the buttons to touch it. So this reminded me of the consequence of sin mentioned in Numbers 5:30-31; 9:12-14; 18:21-23; 30:14-16; Ezekiel 16:57-59; 23:34-36,48-49; 44:9-13.Afterwards, he often points to the aircon to signal my parents to switch it on, and points to cats and dogs on the streets to know what is its names.

In the Old Testament and New Testament, there are lots of Scriptures mentioning sowing and reaping. So whatever is taught to a child, it will bear fruit in the child because all a child do is to observe and follow what is done before his eyes. This makes me realize the importance of my heart and performance as my child’s good example. And I have been pondering about it and pray to the Lord on high to seek His wisdom in guiding the precious child He blesses me with.

To Or Not To

Posted on

To spend or not to spend
To have or not to have
To think or not to think
To fight or not to fight
To overcome or not to overcome
To fly or not to fly
To jump or not to jump
To believe or not to believe my eyes and ears.

To spend our money or to save it
To have children or not to have
To think about our problems or not to think about it
To fight back to keep marriage intact or let it broken
To overcome our own darkest moments or not to do so
To board an airplane or not fearful of accident
To jump out of the wrecked ship or remain in it
To believe or not to believe the words we hear and the events we see with our eyes.

These are the questions and doubts
Which keep us in a dilemma?

No matter what happens
Let us overcome our obstacles in life
Praying to our Abba Father for wisdom and guidance
And to do what is right in His sight.
In His Son’s most beloved Name above all names.

The above inspiration came as I was considering to buy USB fan at Challenger due to my fan was moved away by my husband for my toddler’s safety sake. As I pondered about this, many people are going through times

  1. Whether to spend their money
  2. Whether to have children
  3. Whether to solve their problems
  4. Whether to keep their marriage successful

This is because we are living in an imperfect world. So we can only seek God and seek His help.

Playing Button

Playing switch on off button
Switching light on then off and repeat
It again in order to
Amaze and soothe his or her cries
But it will lead the
Baby to turn out to take pleasure
In touching buttons without knowing
Its electrical danger upon oneself

Running around the house to
Play power switch buttons at the surroundings
Wherever baby can find at
His sight, without realizing its danger implication

Whenever remove baby from touching
Baby will be irritated, annoyed, infuriated, and
Smoke emerged out from head
He or she is fumed with anger!
From sob turns to weeping
From weeping to wailing then to shriek
And finally to shouting in
order to get his or
her way even though to no avail
Hence, history repeats itself daily.

The caregiver of my baby plays the lights’ buttons in order to entertain my eight months old baby. Now, my baby is nineteen months often getting near the buttons to touch it. As I observed my toddler’s daily activities who often uses pointing to express his thoughts to me, the above first paragraph was given birth. When my baby was riding on the Barney children’s ride, he amused himself by saying all sorts of sounds until the word “Go” came out of his mouth repeated many times, it inspires me.

How much more we shouldn’t be complacent in our walk with God. We need to go to find challenges for our faith to grow in the Lord Jesus Christ.
