Being Appreciative

Loving each other fulfills the law of Christ
Who has loved us in our worst phases of life
May we never forget to
Appreciate those whom the Lord places
In our paths of life

With a tie up hair bun, my business partner looks dejected wants to tidy her stuffs in a centre. She looks tired to give and give and give. My heart goes out to her. It is dream and revelation of her heart which I never expect. God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Confused with many choices?
Study the principles of the Bible
Align ourselves in God’s will
God will help and enable us to choose
The perfect choice for us
According to our callings
To glorify and testify of His providence and goodness
A grateful testimony of God in our lives
Study Joseph in the book of Genesis

Missed Which Boat

Posted on

Wedding bells ring
Missed the career boat
New family caregiver
Problems with mother in law
Lifelong struggle of either finance and love or abuse
If husband’s contribution loses existence, wife ends as job seeker and
child care
Best to have partner around

Career minded
Missed the wedding boat
Parents caregiver
Problems in finding partner
Lifelong struggle of loneliness
If parents lose existence, loneliness creeps in
Best to have parents around

Which boat to miss?
Which path to tread?
A dilemma
A dilemma

Can’t we choose both?
To provide for children
Can’t we choose both?
Just like in Proverbs 31
To provide for the family
In case of rainy days

According to my observation, the women are always in a dilemma position. Either path seems imperfect. Each path has its own risk. The reason to use “lose existence” instead of “disappear” will give a stronger word. It can mean loses job, pass away or divorce.

When we sin, we forgo the good path to take.
We forgo the evil path when we do what pleases God.
Which one will we choose?
Forgo the narrow path or forgo the broad path?

During my school holiday, I received a phone call around 9am during my devotional to help out at a place and they will pay me $50 in return. And I need to be there by 10am. I refused the offer thankfully because I want to spend more time with my Lord and His Word. When my sister knew about this, she was unhappy and advised me to take taxi for a few dollars and could recoup the losses. I was lost in words. Now, I hope to grab the opportunity to care for my parents financially and physically while they are still alive. They are blessings from God and He is giving me the time.

It dawned upon me “Flying opportunity” was defined for the acronym forgo. The remaining definitions came on 11 April. Regret is the most suitable word for letting go opportunity to do good. Relentless is to depict purposeful letting go opportunity for evil.

Is sleeping soundly good for the just?
Does the wicked has sleeping difficulty?
Not all who have insomnia are wicked.
Losing someone dear to us is extremely painful.
Losing our pathways is detrimental.
Losing Truth from heart is damaging.
Losing the Lord is estrangement.
Don’t lose Lord Jesus Christ in us!

Psalms 4:8 [KJV]
I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for Thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

Psalms 127:2 [KJV]
It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so He giveth His beloved sleep.

Proverbs 3:24 [KJV]
When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

Proverbs 4:14-27 [KJV]
Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. But the path of the just
is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. My son, attend to My words; incline thine ear unto My sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

Where and There

Posted on

An idiom mentions
Where there is sugar,
There are ants.

In cybercrime,
Where there is hunger,
Where there is thirst,
Where there is money,
Where there is temptation,
The crime will occur.

In Christ Jesus,
Where Christ resides in
There is the Way
There is the Path
There is Truth
There is Eternal Life
There is peace
There is salvation for our souls.

As I was reading my email newsletter from Intel Software Adrenaline, a sentence struck my heart and mind. The article is written by Tim Kridel on 6 December 2012 about ‘How Big A Problem Is Malware?’ with words “Cyber criminals are business people and they will go where the money goes; as smart phone increase in number, we anticipate more to come.” (

Suddenly, the words, “in Christ Jesus” came to me and I was reminded from the Scriptures in John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

It was raining and full of lightning. While in the bus writing about the lizard encounter, I heard my toddler expressed his feelings to the opposite passengers. Those words reminded me of the book of Psalms where King David is pouring his hearts out to God to deliver him from the hands of his enemies. The real mastermind and instigator of our enemies are satan (the devil) and his demons.

Yes. It is a puzzling world we live in.

Jigsaw puzzle is full of puzzles.
Lacking a piece of puzzle is deemed unfinished.

Life puzzles me
Who are we?
Who am I?
How am I supposed to do with my life?
What am I supposed to do with my life?
Which is the best route for me?
Which is the best path for me?

I see a Light at the narrow path.
The Light is inviting me.
I run towards it.
I accept it.
I feel
No longer lonely,
Belong to a big family,
And I want to know more
About the warm and loving Light through
Friends who turns out to be my big family, spiritual guidance, and mentor.
To enable me to get to know about the loving and gracious God through Jesus Christ.

Love of God is full of puzzle.
Bible is also full of puzzle.
To put a puzzle takes up enormous time.
To understand the Bible is also the same.
To know God and to grow spiritually takes a lifetime.
For I am a piece in a puzzle
To do His will in my life
In order to complete the
Whole picture of His
Love and plan for mankind.

In the Lord Jesus Christ
Whom I trust for my

To put a puzzle takes up a lot of time.
Bible is also the same.
To know God and to grow spiritually takes a lifetime.

All I can say is to thank God and praise God in Jesus’ name for the above complete inspiration and to give a certain rhythm in the lines of second and third paragraph to give the sense of stuck in life full of questions and finding the answer to the questions in life.

The whole rhythm of the paragraph is to show the graph we and I experience in our lives, questioning and understanding about the purpose of our lives.

Think Before Suicide

Posted on

How often we contemplate suicide?
Feeling worthless, hopeless, helpless, angry, and depressed
Living in an urban society?

Standing on the rooftop pondering
Closing all door and window with gas
Gulping down plentiful sleeping pills
Slitting wrist with the sharp kitchen knife
Jumping onto the train tracks

Will suicide end your suffering?
Suicide marks the beginning of enormous sufferings
Torments of numerous endless suffering

Will suicide solve all problems?
Problems of debt, relationship, career, love.

Suicide indicates running from problems
Suicide indicates immaturity and brings tears to
Someone who love you dearly

Imagine yourself in their shoes
How will you feel to lose them?
Will sadness grip your heart?

Why can’t we be responsible?
Responsible with our own lives to live
Our life to the fullest
Searching who is the Source of Life.

Do you see a Light
In your darkest path of your life?
Dash towards the brightest Light.
