Soak me in Your water
In Your Living Water
Just like a sponge soaked in the water
Drink deep in Your Word
Enter deep into Your Presence
How, to enter into your presence, O Lord?
Please tell me.
Please guide me.
Please teach me.
To lead a clean life
Deep within my heart need to be clean
Deep within my heart need to be pure
And to walk according to Your Word.
Keep my heart pure, O Lord.

Why use the word “in”? In Christ, we find love, hope and strength in the brink of our soul’s destruction.
As I was re-washing my comb due to some dirt and tried to make it as clean as possible, the above second paragraph came to me as I was reminded of the book of Psalm 24:3-5 and 51:10
Psalm 24:3-5 (NIV)
Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God their Savior.
Psalm 51:10 (NIV)
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
As I searched the keyword, “pure heart”, the book of Hebrews guides us how to lead us into his presence in chapter 10 verse 21 to 23, “and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.”
