Does your suppressed distress accumulate?
Accumulates gradually
Into a huge mountain

Sadness feelings wave us away from our self identity
But
Sadness feelings wake us up from our harmful ways

Now

Now

Does the nature of our work brings glory to God?
Does the nature of our work brings us closer to God?
Do we let God’s holiness shines upon us?
Do we want to sin against the One who saves us?
Do we want to please God?
Do we want to do that makes Him sad?
Do we agree in dishonesty?
Please think about it.

As I was walking home from buying groceries, suddenly the words ‘nature of work’ has the acronym of ‘now’. Because I was thinking my family’s and my nature of work to spend time with our little ones. A few days later, the questions came as I was pondering about this. The candle light denotes our borrowed lifetime on earth. Once the candle is burnt completely, our life has ended.

In the dark of the night

In the dark of the night
A dim light is seen
The hope I need
As I approach it
The light is getting brighter
Then Someone extends His hand to me
As I lift my face
I see a Face glimmers with Love and Hope
He is the hope I need.

All along, I had been
Keeping to myself
Shutting myself from the outside world
Staying at a dark corner
Unexpectedly, Someone extends His hand to me
He is my Lord and Saviour

In the dark of the night
I’m no longer sad
A bright Light is guiding me
Always with me
My heart is filled with love, strength and hope.

Reminiscing my days without Christ and how I experience His love causing me to accept Him as my Lord and Saviour and strengthens me to go through the dark phase of my life. It is the most difficult times that I had encounter and losing the will to live.
