Normally, DO stands for Delivery Order but I’m shocked that I’m being too detail oriented. That detail oriented almost cost my time and mental work. Then I realized that God is seeing into the tiny detail of our lives whether we are following His Words and Will. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

Hiss

Hiss

Do these drive us to insanity?
Do these lead us to seek God’s forgiveness?
Why does Jesus Christ comes?

Jeremiah 37:3 in NASB is the source of idea to define acronym Hiss. Hiss is the sound from snake. This reminded me of mankind’s fall to temptation instigated by the serpent.

VA in AV

VA in AV

What is the purpose of Visual Artist?
In the media world full of audio and video?
What is the purpose of media?
What do we see from this world before trees culling?
Whose beautiful sounds do we hear from the nature?
How do we feel when we go back to nature?
Is life better during our ancestors’ lives?
Care this creation that is being entrusted to us

Suddenly, “VA in AV” played in my mind. Normally, AV stands for Audio Video. When reverse its acronym defines Visual Artist.

Cutting Words

Posted on

Cut! Cut! Cut!
Attempting to explain
Cut! Cut! Cut!
Attempting to explain
To seek the truth
By asking my son’s stance
Instead of assuming
Assuming he wriggles like a dog
In front of his grandma’s door

Cut! Cut! Cut!
This irked me to the core
Cutting my words
To justify her actions
Cutting my words
Insisting her own mindset
Insisting her own way
Babbling like a train
Instead of peaceful discussion
Cutting my words
With her ears closed
With her mouth closed
With her eyes closed
Refusing to listen
Refusing to see
The right perspective

How many times
Do our hearts are
Closed to God’s love
Closed to see God
Closed to find rest
In Jesus Christ?

This kind of conversation irritated me for keeping on cutting my explanation instead of listening after she blabbered. She was furious of revenge from her grandson to hit back. She was angry for him to hit his own dad.

When I probed my son and asked caringly, he responded he hit his dad playfully. His dad often played with him acting like a bad guy so he wanted to play that with his dad. Unexpectedly, she hit him for doing so and the revenge occurred. Heated arguments with my son and disciplined him, but he dashed to my mother out of fear.

It was a great challenge to me to define the acronym of ‘assume’ began with, “Always Seeing Someone”. According to dictionary, assume means to accept without proof; to take upon oneself; to pretend to be. Assumption means the act of assuming; unverified belief. So assumptions are not the truth until we verify its validity.

Full Moon

Looking up the black sky
Looking at the full moon
Shining among the darkness

Looking at the full moon
Full moon is smiling at me
Turn another side
Full moon also smiles at me
Standing under its middle
Full moon laughs happily
Reflecting the sun’s light in it.

Hope is found in the darkest moment
In the darkest moment of life
In our darkest moment of life,
We see Him clearly
We feel Him clearly
We sense His presence clearer.

Remember,
Full moon
Is like
The
Anchor
In the dark sky.

What You See & Hear

Posted on

What you see is not what you hear
What you hear is not what you see

Open your eyes widely
Open your ears clearly
Wear your spectacle
Remove the speck covering your eyes
Dig out the dirt in your earlobe
Let your ear as long as the rabbit
Use both of them
To observe correctly
To listen attentively.

Please do REMEMBER
To observe correctly
To listen attentively.

Revised On: Sunday, 1 July 2012 from 2am to 5:10pm

As I was cycling home from buying groceries, “What you see is not what you hear. What you hear is not what you see.” has been speaking to my mind. Subsequently, I remembered of my situation before. A friend who is guy ever met me at the eateries near my church. Afterward, he seek my permission to follow me in order to know which church building I go for worship then he left as I entered the church building.

Upon reaching home after the completion of Bible class on a certain topic, suddenly my sister questioned worriedly where I went. I answered I went to church for class. Abruptly, she repeated what her friend reported, “I saw your sister walk with a guy to an apartment.” Thank God for His Holy Spirit to give me calmness and replied gently that the apartment was just one out of other apartments I need to pass by from the eateries in order to reach my destination, which is the church building. In my heart, I thank the Lord for the pastor to give a certificate of attendance upon the completion of the Bible class with their contacts. Confidently, I took out the certificate from my school bag. She believed me. And this event has been a laughable matter due my sister’s friend basing his deduction according to what he saw. It will be good if he probed to listen the conversations and followed out of concern, rather than see superficially and report it.

Sometimes hearing people say only without observing may make a mistake also. The animation “Death Note” showed the corrupted officer named Light questioning his suspected underground follower. Light used stackable notes to tell her what to do and telling lies as his other colleagues were listening to his conversations. This what the police officers do to collect evidence. It is not a wise decision either due the incomprehensible of human hearts tempted to go astray (Jeremiah 17:9).
