More to Moment

Posted on

The moment you linger
The more you consume

The moment you linger
The more you sink deeper

The moment you open into sin
The more you fall into temptation

The moment you raise white flag to evil
The more you are defeated into dark paths

The moment you feed the deceptive ways in your lives
The more you are imprisoned by the devil

The moment you acknowledge your sins
The more you are repentant to walk away

That moment you accept Jesus Christ into your lives
The more acknowledgement from God comes

The moment you acknowledge Jesus Christ as your Saviour
The more your soul is saved and redeemed

The moment your body wane
The more time with our Abba Father

I have been going through rough times mentally in dealing with sarcastic people. This is likened to the push to be sarcastic. The book of James has been my guidance to resist from falling into temptations. Many times I cry to God for healing and the willingness to forgive. Praise God that He answers my prayer. Therefore, PR acronym is produced. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

Bait

Posted on

Oh, we are like fishes in the pond
Swimming with enjoyment
Until
A hook with worm
Suddenly rolls down
Tempting fishes to
Take the bait
Bait to be devoured
Bait to death and destruction

Hooks of the devil
Snares of the devil
Traps of the devil
Wiles of the devil

Temptations from the devil
Deserve our attentions to beware
Deserve our attentions to guard ourselves
Deserve our attentions to seek God’s intervention

To stand strong in our faith
To stand with Jesus’ strength
To please our Lord
As the ambassadors of gospel
To be the vessel of Light

Do we ignore God’s Words and choose to fall into temptations?
Or
Temptations are overpowered with our choices to stand in His Words?

The second stanza came first followed by the rest. But the first stanza birthed out upon ending all stanza. First stanza’s purpose and idea came from second stanza with word “hook”. It was an allegory to depict human’s frailty needing of God’s strength.

How many times a day do we seek God’s cleansing of our hearts?
To incline our will according to His will

Matthew 26:41 (NIV)
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Matthew 26:42 (KJV)
He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, Thy will be done.

Finally, I brought my mother and son out to a plaza for a walk. After busy for work, I felt refreshed going out. In the restaurant, my mother habitually wipes chopsticks and spoons with tissue. My dad considers her being too clean. Then “Cleaning Department” came to me producing acronym CD.

Under the pressure of the world?
Under the temptation of this world?

Suddenly, Jeremiah 3:25 caught my attention. Taking its initial produced the acronym Sag. According to dictionary sag means in Verb is sink or subside gradually under weight or pressure or through lack of strength: “he sagged against the wall”. Sag means in Noun is downward curve or bulge in a structure caused by weakness or excessive weight or pressure.

Temptation

So alluring
Looks delicious
Seems harmless
Wishing to get near
Driven closer to temptation
Flee from temptation or dive into temptation?

Flee from lust
Flee from temptation
In honour for the body our Creator bless us
In honour and respect our Lord

Dive into temptation
Sink deeper in temptation
Destroying ourselves
Giving place to the devil

The idea of temptation lights a bulb in my mind. Whenever I faced temptation, I find it so alluring. Once the object is removed, the tempting feeling gradually diminishes. Oh, noodle snack is my temptation. Too many packs of it can disappear from the drawer within a few days. They make appearance in my stomach.

In whatever we do, do we try to be like God?
Lucifer attempted to enthrone himself as god, thereby he is deceiving himself and us.
Remember that God is the Potter, we are the clay.

Isaiah 14:11-13 (NIV)
All your pomp has been brought down to the grave, along with the noise of your harps; maggots are spread out beneath you and worms cover you. How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, “I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon.

Isaiah 29:15-16 (NIV)
Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in darkness and think, “Who sees us? Who will know?” You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay! Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, “You did not make me”? Can the pot say to the potter, “You know nothing”?

Isaiah 45:8-10 (NKJV)
“Rain down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together. I, the Lord, have created it. “Woe to him who strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ Or shall your handiwork say, ‘He has no hands’? Woe to him who says to his father, ‘What are you begetting?’ Or to the woman, ‘What have you brought forth?’”

Romans 9:20-22 (NET)
But who indeed are you—a mere human being—to talk back to God? Does what is molded say to the molder, “Why have you made me like this?” Has the potter no right to make from the same lump of clay one vessel for special use and another for ordinary use? But what if God, willing to demonstrate his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience the objects of wrath prepared for destruction?

According to Dictionary.com, Par means equality in value or standing; a level of equality: The gains and the losses are on a par. Then it dawned upon me of Lucifer then humans wanting to be on par with God and reminded of Genesis 3 where Satan lied in verse 5, “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
