Thinking of time, “ticking clock is running out” came and challenged me to define the remaining two letters. Thankful for God and Pat Cegan’s poetry at http://patcegan.wordpress.com/2013/11/20/more-time/ to help me to process this entrusted acrostic poetry. Praise God to finally get the right vocabulary to complete the empty letters. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you

Bust is a challenging popped out word to define. Finally, on Monday midnight, the definition of the acronym poetry was produced. It was like a reminder to me to rest my body despite of many tasks at hand. The dictionary defines bust as

  1. to burst
  2. to break or separate; split
  3. to go bankrupt
  4. to collapse from the strain of making a supreme effort

Tick

Tick

Every tick signify every second
60 ticks signify a minute
3600 ticks signify an hour
How does every tick count in our lives?
The Lord gives us time to repent and obey Him with love

2 Peter 3:8-10 (NIV)
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

“Time in control” came when I realized I’m in control of my time. And that the Lord blesses us with time. A time for people to repent, accept Him, and love Him through our good works. According to dictionary, tick means a light, sharp, clicking sound made repeatedly by a machine, such as a clock.

Want to Sleep

Posted on

My body is very fatigue
Of the numerous tasks completed in the day
Wanting to have a sleep
The ticking clock is indeed extremely loud
Numerous piercing ticks disturb me
It causes my sleepy brain to awake
More ticks irritate my nerves
It is reaching onto my brain nerves
I get frustrated and irritated.

It is a useless clock
Might as well don’t let the clock
Accompany me in my sleep.

I grab the clock
Open my drawer, throw the clock in
Close the drawer and sleep.

Finally, I feel at ease
Quietness in the dark room doze me
Off and my mind asleeps.

As I’m putting myself in my mother’s shoes when she shares about a clock that my dad brought home, Jesus’ Words came to me as stated in Matthew 7:11-13.
