Courage In The Midst Of Crisis

Posted on

Obstacles and adversities
Filling own path
Fear overwhelms own soul

Trust in the Lord Jesus
In all my ways
Acknowledge Him

Thus instill
Courage in the midst of crisis
Enable self to be more assertive

Awaiting His instructions
Jump to the next destination
Resting in His love

Current life situation seems improving. However, many people persuade me to extend the contract. I thank the Lord for the strength to speak out not to get their hopes high on me. Knowing the person whom the Lord anoints to guide me in career and business is running a trustworthy business. This reminds me of Gideon who needs God to confirm the anointing and victory. (Judges 6-8) God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Trust in the Lord

Posted on

Pray to the Lord
Trusting the Lord
With hearts and minds
In everything
Doing own best

I will deliver thee
Thou shalt not be given into
The hand of men
Whom thou art afraid

I will surely deliver thee
Thou shalt not fall by the sword
Thy life shall be a prey unto thee
Because thou hast put thy trust in Me

Saith the Lord

Jeremiah 39 helps me to understand about God. The Lord spoke to the Israelites through the prophet Jeremiah. Second and third stanza comes from verse 17 to 18. These two verses speak to me the importance to trust in the Lord during my tumultuous times. Likewise, the Lord continually deliver those who put their trust in Him. This really comforts my heart to continually trust in Him. Proverbs 3 also explain the importance of trusting the Lord in whatever we do.

Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

Courageous in Outrageous

Posted on

Courageous to go through the battle of life
Outrageous to go through the angst of lies

Yet still to courageously trust in The Lord
Albeit the outrageously wiles of the devil

Hating own life to live for Christ courageously
Losing grip of everyone in the world outrageously

Losing the will to live outrageous life
Only to persist to live a courageous life
For Christ alone

Living in hurts and pains baffle me. Someone who claims to be in Christ proved manipulative. Desiring to control my life, he played around with his words. Upon realization of his claw, I choose to leave. My dear friend just went through similar situations. My advise to her is to leave rather than being taken advantage. Moreover, she can not trust her client anymore. Even though it hurts her, she chooses to leave. Her parents also advised her to do so. A word of advise, not All Client are King. God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Seven Senses

Posted on

Hoarding books with a pair eyes
Seeping like a sponge

Listen with a pair of
Sharp rabbit-like ears

Sensing every surrounding
Quiet as a stone aware of potential danger

Sniff extensively
Aware of poisonous or edible consumption

Tasting every life experiences
Lead to self-realization and understand others

Perceive others through observations
Conclude presumptions as sixth senses

Not forgetting to trust the Creator
Self-commitment to trust Jesus in all ways

Reading books are my ways to learn to do things. Upon coming to know The Lord Jesus Christ, the Bible is my daily spiritual food and compass. This poetry commence its birth with the first stanza. As I return to it and write my inspiration, I am challenged to explore all five senses. Next is to sixth senses and lead to the seventh sense to learn to trust Jesus albeit unforeseen circumstances. God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Light in Darkness

While I walk towards my room, I had forgotten that the coffee table was moved onto the middle living room. It knocked hard onto my legs and I tried to cope with it. Realizing that humans have the tendency of being blind to own mistakes, it is the most essential part to look out in every human being. Hurt without realizing of own wrongdoings in darkness. This poetry birthed out of this painful experience then I left it for fifteen days before revising it again. Then I submit after revision. God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

O Sleeper

Posted on

O sleeper
Wake up!
Arise!
Resurrect!
In the power of the Holy Spirit
Received upon accepting
Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour
Accepting His Lordship in your lives

O sleeper
Are you awakened?
Have you arisen from your sleep?
Do you resurrect from death?
Are you alive?

Praise God’s holy name
Worship Him
Declare His goodness
Count His blessings
Walk in His statutes, precepts and principles
Live in Him
Breath in Him
Depend on Him
As the branches are dependent on the vine
Trust Him to deliver
Bless His holy name
Above all
Fear and Love the Lord
