Encouragement

Posted on

Wednesday’s devotion encouragement at Our Daily Bread https://odb.org/2018/11/14/bound-to-encourage/ helps us to realise our encouragement matters to others. Observing the downcast hurts me. Even I have been ridiculed of my dream. We only have one mouth. We can choose to put it to speak to others. In the end, I encourage the downcast to reach their great and impossible dreams for God and for others.

Awakened to live a life for Him alone

I have been stuck in the life full of ache. The three words of, “Immerse Awaken Refresh” are my stuck points. Today, I return to it again and feel inspired of my last year’s experiences worshipping God. I saw that I am fully soaked in the living water. What is God going to do this year? God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Problems often occur among people. This produced PIP acronym. According to Oxford Learner’s dictionary, pip means (1) The small hard seed that is found in some types of fruit (2) A series of short high sounds, especially those used when giving the exact time on the radio. The synonyms of pip are seed, stone, pit. The free dictionary defines pip as the stone of soft fruits such as peaches and plums. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

Tojiru Yoshiko
Upon understanding and pondering the meaning of Pip, it takes six days to birth the poetry out. Using devour word will give a much greater impact compared to swallow. Kick is a stronger words rather than leave. God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Drowned into the sea of poetry
Writing in the abyss of sea
Sipping every drop
Gulping the water

In the abyss sea of poetry
Swimming with the poetry
Enjoying every second
Enjoying every minute
Enjoying every hour

Refusing to return to the shore
Not regretting
A point of no return
To the hot arid shore
Shore without poetry
Not regretting
A point of no return
Delve into the sea of God’s love

A one way ticket
Air ticket
Living in the sky
Looking at God’s glory
Shine of glory
Captivated by His beauty
Wishing a lifestyle of obedience
To experience Jesus’ holy life
A life of joy
A life of peace
A life of heavenly voices

Too or Warm

Too hot
Bacteria dies
Choo! Choo!
Steam evaporates
Out of the kettle mouth
Boiling water
Death is impeccable
Impossible place for humans, living things and creatures

Too cold
Below zero degrees
Bacteria dies
Freeze
Ice covers kettle
An enormous ice cube swarm kettle
Death is impeccable
Impossible atmosphere for humans, living things and creatures

Not too hot
Not too cold
Warm atmosphere
Everything in moderation
Bacteria survives
Mankind’s survival
Living things and creatures survive

Such a simple yet profound
Principles and beauty of
God’s amazing handiworks

Towel Hanger

Towel Hanger by Tienny The

Wet towels hanging on
Hanging poles
Too close together
Sipped water hard to evaporate
Too wet
Dry slowly

Wet towels hanging on
Hanging poles
Separate further
Water evaporates faster out of
Wet towel
Dry faster

Drowned in living out the word of God’s Word
Or
Living in the hot and dry desert of selfishness

Drowned in the lake of sins
Or
Living holy life and dry from sins

Power of Assumptions

Posted on

There is a tendency to measure someone else with our own thinking. But people’s mindset may not be according to our assumptions. It is essential for us to search out the truth. Our assumptions are like a water filter, to separate water from the noodle. Assumptions filter out people’s words. We only remember a few words and concluded based on own assumptions.

For example:
A spoke gently to his son, “Be careful! Don’t jump when you climb the tree because you will fall.” Then A noticed a cockroach was walking towards his neighbour and A shouted, “Ah! A cockroach rushes to you. Stomp on it! Kill it!” B was daydreaming and woken by A’s shout. So B looked outside the window. A’s neighbour is out of sight and B only heard A’s words. So B concluded A jumped the tree and fell, but cockroach kills him. Isn’t this story is a good example.

Thirsty Black Hole

Water, water
Give me water
Water, water
Give me water
I’m thirsty
Quench my thirst
With water

Water, water
Give me water
Water, water
Give me water
I’m thirsty
Quench my thirst
With water again

Again and again

An unquenchable thirst
Thirst for relationship?
Thirst for the Truth?
Thirst for Jesus?
Thirst for love?
Or
Thirst for mammon?
Thirst for treasure?
Thirst to fill the
black hole in hearts?

It began with “water, water” and no flowing result as I revisited it daily. Tonight is the flowing period of the poetry.

Poetry Burst Forth & Gushes Out

Posted on

As the pool of water burst to bubbles,
Poetries burst forth from life experiences
Poetries burst forth in my walk of faith
Poetries burst forth through observations
Poetries gush out from our inner-self
Poetries gush out from our hearts
Poetries gush out from our minds
Poetries of poetry
Telling every detail

Every detail of events
Every details of actions
Every detail of wishes
Every detail of dreams
Every detail of pains
Every detail of despairs
Every detail of sorrows
Every detail of tragedies
Every detail of joy
Every detail of love
Every detail of hope.

All these burst forth.
All these gush out.

Writer’s block came upon me after I wrote down my imagination, “As the pool of water burst to bubbles, Poetries burst forth from life experiences. Poetries burst forth in my walk of faith”. But the rest of the words flowed out while I was accompanying my mother to a community dinner.

A River of Flowing Living Water

Posted on

Small rivers
Small isolated rivers
Numerous small isolated rivers
Numerous small rivers are attached to the Main River
Longing for a river
A river full of flowing living water
A river full of delights
A river filling hearts with great joy
Where can we find such river?

Through Jesus Christ
Immanuel
God is with us
From Him the Living water flows out
And we will never thirst.

People dig the river to create attachment to the main river was the picture came to my mind initially. Then it commenced with the sentence “river attached to the river”. On Monday midnight, the other words flowed out. But the upper three lines flows out today.

The Scriptures in Psalm 36:8, Psalm 4:7 and John 4:10-11;7:38 inspires me so the above poetry is birthed out.

Water

Soak me in Your water
In Your Living Water
Just like a sponge soaked in the water
Drink deep in Your Word
Enter deep into Your Presence
How, to enter into your presence, O Lord?
How?
Please tell me.
Please guide me.
Please teach me.

To lead a clean life
Deep within my heart need to be clean
Deep within my heart need to be pure
And to walk according to Your Word.
Keep my heart pure, O Lord.

Why use the word “in”? In Christ, we find love, hope and strength in the brink of our soul’s destruction.
As I was re-washing my comb due to some dirt and tried to make it as clean as possible, the above second paragraph came to me as I was reminded of the book of Psalm 24:3-5 and 51:10

Psalm 24:3-5 (NIV)
Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God their Savior.

Psalm 51:10 (NIV)
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

As I searched the keyword, “pure heart”, the book of Hebrews guides us how to lead us into his presence in chapter 10 verse 21 to 23, “and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

God’s Words

Posted on

After GOD has redeemed me,
i was so dirty in sins’ stain in my life.
And GOD’s Words are like a
pure, clean, spring waters of rivers from the mountain top.
Can imagine i stand in the rivers of GOD’s Words
and all the waters splashes to me wholly and cleansed me slowly.
When my heart is soaked in the rivers of the Word of GOD and drink it,
slowly all my stains of sins are cleansed and even
my heart desires changed and
my heart is purged from the
stains of sins and slowly cleansed.
