The above acrostic poetry is birthed from reading the book ‘Never Eat Alone’ written by Keuth Ferrazi & Tahl Raz. Throughout reading the book, I still believe in the word of God to love God is to love others. The most important is to love Him first being rooted in His Word and grow in Him. Then we can serve others in their needs, interests and passion.

Throughout my experiences, I was given the things I don’t need. Therefore, I come to the conclusion to bless others by understanding their needs, interests and passions. I am thankful of my spiritual mentor to equip me with the Word of God. Upon knowing she would like to have Bible in King James Version, I carefully chose a compact yet medium font of a King James Version Bible. Out of gratitude, I surprised her with it. She is so delighted. I feel so delighted with her satisfied expression. I thank the Lord to enable me to observe her needs before I bless her with a present. I like the character of my mentor who is not ashamed to share her flaw to me. She understands I am so upset with my own flaws.

Hikari Yori
My friend passed a book to me for advice. The book ‘Careers in Digital Animation’ mentions the graduate artists to do internships and unpaid jobs. It is someone who set this industry practices so this produced another IP acronym. This industry practices spoil the arts company to prey on the new artists to do free work. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

Upon hearing such matter from Yori, I was shocked and curious of the book. Upon hearing the stated words, I also have the same disagreements as Yori. This sparked an inspiration in me birthing the above poetry. Any artists reading this, please hear my questions. Please consider the professions of maids, waiters, waitresses, promoters, doctors, nurses, scientists, administrative, secretaries, and other finance industries. Those without experiences will get paid for their full time internships then turns into permanent positions. But why exploit the new emerging artists and even freelancers to do the required arts job? Are arts industries considered nothing? Just preys to exploit?

Being inspired with ant bully movie, I concluded my husband as insects and bugs bully. Recalling his young times, it seems disgusting to me for him to bully the insects and bugs he encountered. Remove cricket’s one leg then put back into the trees. Put fire onto a spider until its legs retract back and died. A brick to stomp onto a scorpion.

Then I was reminded of my brother during his primary days. A rat was locked in a trap cage. A stick inside the trap cage with a sharp end was used to sting the dark brown rat curiously. Though I asked him to stop, he continually sting it many times. I watched in horror in how it shrieked in pain until it stopped moving and ceased its breath. Such a gross sight.

All these sights and hearings mixed together and gives birth to this first acrostic poetry with the help from Yori. Reminding me of the book of Leviticus in the procedure to care the land God blesses. Leaving me speechless for D, E, O, Q, T, and U. When I think of the poor, there are downtrodden people. Leading me to the outcast.

Pray and investigate the truth of the matter
Before passing down the wrong judgement
Thinking oneself protects the complainer
Search the whole truth and analyze the reason
For judging righteousness will prevail in God’s eyes

I realized my problem seems hard now, but it will heal by God’s strength and mercy. Unable to forget the pain lashed from my loved ones though I forgive them in the recent incidents. I have been struggling in this area. Hurt with someone who didn’t investigate the matter. Instead of asking me why I reacted angrily, abruptly shouted at me without realizing the hurtful words she snarled at me. Eyes blinded with biased words. Ears are deafened with the complainer who speaks falsely. Causing dissension among my family members even me. I care her but she bites me instead. Refusing to believe my parents about her in order to act justly. Showing my care and concern to her. But it never occurred to me she will do backstabbing. Almost drive me away from home losing my new family.

I do wonder about the night terror of going out. Rape, robbery, and many other wickedness are done in the night. Suddenly, it produced acronym Ton. According to the free dictionary, ton means

1. A unit of weight equal to 2,000 pounds (0.907 metric ton or 907.18 kilograms). Also called net ton, short ton.
2. A unit of weight equal to 2,240 pounds (1.016 metric tons or 1,016.05 kilograms). Also called long ton.
3. A metric ton.

5. A unit of internal capacity of a ship equal to 100 cubic feet.
6. A unit for measuring the displacement of ships, equal to 35 cubic feet, and supposed to equal the volume taken by a long ton of seawater.

   • Used adverbially with a or in the plural to mean “to a great degree or extent” or “frequently”.

People tend to observe our
Performance through words
Think before talk
Empty promises hurts
Make sure our words and actions tally
CPU is computer’s processing unit
Does our central nervous system dictates our actions?

The words “captured performance” inspired me to insert U into its acronym. Later on, I was stuck for a few minutes and thank God the empty blank is filled followed by seven lines of inspiration.

Writing for SOS gave me this acrostic poetry realizing either sight can be pleasure or pain. The acrostic is SOP, inserting A will produce the word SOAP. Next day, the other definition came.

Ebb

Our assumptions are wrong spectacles
Clothing this in mind and eyes
Will lead to wrong conclusions and actions
Disastrous consequences will destroy ourselves ultimately

Being too emotional as a mother when my son misbehaves, unexpectedly, he enjoys irritating me. Sometimes, I locked myself in the bathroom to cry after the struggle ends. After I calm down, I realised that humans are emotional being. EB acronym is produced. Inserting letter B will be EBB. Pondering about it, lead me to a picture. Picture came into my mind of a person being blown by an explosion. It is a movie that I watched before. Afterward, the movie showed that the person disappeared. Thank God it is not gross. According to the dictionary, ebb means

1. The flowing back of the tide as the water returns to the sea (opposed to flood, flow)
2. A flowing backward or away; decline or decay: the ebb of a once great nation.
3. A point of decline: His fortunes were at a low ebb.
4. To flow back or away, as the water of a tide ( opposed to flow )
5. To decline or decay; fade away: His life is gradually ebbing.

Upon pondering this word, “emotion”, emotion tends to get the better of me too. It can be disastrous if depend it as compass. Let me share my bad experience into a learning experience.

Excited to get the first illustration project, I willingly accept it when my mom and brother disagreed. They disagreed to accept from my relative whom I felt close during young times. But she flew overseas to further her studies and no contact with her for 12 years and returned. Willingly, I emailed her the sketches. Upon knowing my price
though half lower than the market price, she told me she didn’t want to continue it. Regrets crushed me to know her true mask. If I know, I should believe my mom and brother. Afterward, my sister did mention of my relative character. Before I didn’t believe my relative is a cunning person. Now, it is a hard truth for me. Gulp. Like a hard stone in my throat and I was depressed. Obviously, I wore the wrong spectacle back then. Though no contact now and without her apology, I feel sad to lose such relationship. My dad also dislikes this relative. Then I realised those freelance artists will request for 50% deposit for the charged amount. I feel that I’m like a fool. Thank God that the second client introduced from a friend is approved by my family and completed the project.
