Suddenly, the words “concept idea” challenged me to define its whole alphabetical definition. Upon ending this abecedarian poetry, it is more appropriate to change to another title.

How many times do we jeopardize our safety due to curiosity?

This idea came when I was expressing the angry baby. Top and below definitions came and finally the middle definitions were filled in. He ever killed a passing by ant on the floor then laugh. Usually, he cried to get his way. Once his way was fulfilled, his cries turned into laugh in a second. I don’t explain much to him whenever he asked how he appears.

My toddler refused to wash his hands and feet before sleep. He played the door and closed. I lock the door. He was so angry for a few minutes then laughed.

Sweet to Bitter

All sweetness of life may
Bring idleness, laziness

Being challenged to describe goodness in an alphabetical poetry, the Scripture is the basis of my reference at

Matthew 6:1-7 (KJV)
Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: that thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. According to Oxford Advance Learner’s dictionary, yahoo means a rude, noisy or violent person. Yet is used in negative sentences and questions to talk about something that has not happened but that you expect to happen. Zap is to destroy, kill or hit somebody / something suddenly and with force. Zonked means extremely tired or suffering from the effects of alcohol or drugs. In conclusion, yet mindset is a much stronger word and the best word.

It all started with the words, “Diabolical Evil Venomous” to give this alphabetical inspiration poetry. It was a challenge to identify the sins in an alphabetical order. A few words flowed out daily. Including “Xenophobia” means a strong feeling of dislike or fear of people from other countries.

The inspiration came when I observe someone who didn’t read the Bible. The picture in my imagination came resulting to the above inspirations. But upon reaching the alphabet E onwards, I was stuck in words. On 24th March, the inspiration flowed out and stopped at J. On 27 March, “justify” seems perfect for J and reach to U. Next day, the words flowed until X and completed the last alphabet.

The reason to named this abecedarian poetry ‘A Dusty Book’ is due to various meaning. I observe some people have a Bible, but they didn’t read. Another reason is some choose not to let the Bible takes effect in their hearts, minds, attitudes, and actions.

Whenever I think of abandoned babies and see it from the newspaper, I feel that they have feelings. I hope to create the awareness that baby is innocent and in need of love from their parents and other people.
