Being inspired with ant bully movie, I concluded my husband as insects and bugs bully. Recalling his young times, it seems disgusting to me for him to bully the insects and bugs he encountered. Remove cricket’s one leg then put back into the trees. Put fire onto a spider until its legs retract back and died. A brick to stomp onto a scorpion.

Then I was reminded of my brother during his primary days. A rat was locked in a trap cage. A stick inside the trap cage with a sharp end was used to sting the dark brown rat curiously. Though I asked him to stop, he continually sting it many times. I watched in horror in how it shrieked in pain until it stopped moving and ceased its breath. Such a gross sight.

All these sights and hearings mixed together and gives birth to this first acrostic poetry with the help from Yori. Reminding me of the book of Leviticus in the procedure to care the land God blesses. Leaving me speechless for D, E, O, Q, T, and U. When I think of the poor, there are downtrodden people. Leading me to the outcast.

God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Staggering heart turns to Stable heart
Struggling hands turns to Strong hands
Striving mind turns to persevering mind
Surviving spirit turns to living spirit
Soul is bounded, but is freed.
Attempting to live life to the fullest.
I’m learning to live life to the fullest.
“Indeed, life is lived to the full.” That’s what I heard.
Through His strength upon us.
As He walk with me through the dark valleys,
Valleys of the shadows of death.
My heart feels peace with His presence.

I was contemplating of life’s difficulties. Seems that there is a cycle of life phases that most people have to go through. And I keep trusting God to see me through. Many testimonies testify of God’s goodness and faithfulness upon their lives. Furthermore, I am inspired from Psalms 23.

Deeply Ingrained Memories

Deeply ingrained memories
Memories kept in a box
Unravelling the box of memories . . .

Memories of love
Memories of friendship
Memories of happiness
Memories of joyfulness
Memories of gladness
Memories of peacefulness
Memories of living on the mountains.

Memories of rejection
Memories of hurt
Memories of sadness
Memories of frustrations
Memories of depressions
Memories of despair in life
Memories of darkness in life
Memories of living in the dark valleys.

All these are a parcel of life.
Trust in God, o my soul.

Out of a sudden, the words “Deeply ingrained” came while I was listening to the Doxology hymn during brushing my teeth. Other words came on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and finally today.

Where is the Safest Place?

If the house is built on the ground, may have earthquake.
If the house is near the valley, may have volcanic eruption.
If the house is in boat, may have seaquake.
If the house is in the aeroplane, may have violent storm in the sky.

Where is the best place to stay?
Where is the safest place to stay?
None is safe.
This shows
Our vulnerabilities
Our weakness
Our limitations
How small we are.

We can only put our trust in the Living God, the Creator of all.
