I have been stuck in the life full of ache. The three words of, “Immerse Awaken Refresh” are my stuck points. Today, I return to it again and feel inspired of my last year’s experiences worshipping God. I saw that I am fully soaked in the living water. What is God going to do this year? God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Being overworked can cause burnt out. Today’s technological era place more burden onto the body system. When we do too much for God, it can produce a different result. It drains our energy. Thus I conclude who to give help. I need to take care of my mental and health first. Then I can serve God more productively. God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Such negligence in a family is fatal in the future of abandoned person
Mankind choice of abandoning God’s truth and negligence in living it out

Abandonment is the most painful feelings and memories. Thinking of it, some words define the acronym of abandon. But writing blocks occurred. Next day, more words define every letter and stuck again. Until the final day, all the blanks are completely filled in.

SOS

SOS-2

Loving us too much
He willingly sacrifice Himself
To rescue us from death
Death from sins
To give us eternal life

Philippians 2:6-16 (KJV)
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

Suddenly, inserting O into the words “self sacrifice” produced the acronym of SOS. Then the idea to improvise came into place. Thank God. Because SOS stands for Save Our Soul. As I was going to upload schedule this, suddenly another definition spoke to me, “Salvation Of Our Saviour”.

Our patience can be cultivated through Christ’s strength in us when we allow Him.
Who is the Hero of the universe?
Who is the Initial Being before the universe appears?
Who is the One who can save our souls from darkness?

Who is the Saviour of our souls?
Who is the Prince of Peace?
Who is the Immanuel (God with us)?

As I was reading my email newsletter from Intel Software Adrenaline, a sentence struck my heart and mind. The article is written by Tim Kridel on 6 December 2012 about ‘How Big A Problem Is Malware?’ with words “Cyber criminals are business people and they will go where the money goes; as smart phone increase in number, we anticipate more to come.” (http://link.software-dispatch.intel.com/u.d?IYGtmTdPTZStq7_aBL1uQ=2861)

Suddenly, the words, “in Christ Jesus” came to me and I was reminded from the Scriptures in John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

A daily struggle to do quiet times
A daily struggle to do God’s will
A daily struggle to obey God

Stench

An unexplainable, inexpressible terrible stench
Pinches my nose deep to the core
My nostril follows the stench
Finally it tracks down the root cause
Of the stench’s real whereabout.

The stench is coming from
My toddler who is in deep sleep
Oh, he defecates while asleep.
Oh, the stench is indeed so unbearable
My nose is hurting inside
Immediately, take action to clean him thoroughly
And the smell slowly diminishes.

Sins and trespassing are also giving the people a terrible stench of death. It is liken to the above haiku. There is a need of the grace of God through Jesus Christ, the Saviour of our soul to clean our hearts, minds, and motivations of our actions. Through His blood we receive the cleansing of our soul. (Romans 5:13-15; 6:11-13)

As I opened my room door, the terrible stench pained my nostrils. Then I realized the smell came from my sleeping toddler and I immediately clean him and change his diaper. As I was changing his diaper, “An unexplainable terrible stench” ringed in my mind. As I calmed down on my bed, I penned down my visualization of my feelings. Today is finalization of the above inspired haiku.

Destruction

Dust particles in the air
Mud, A Grain of Sand, Stain, Dirt
Ashes, Sandy wind onto lenses

Tiny little dots of dirt
Scattering across the screen blocking our vision
Vision of our eyes’ lenses

A windy cloud of haze
Blocks our pathways to our supposed destination
When standing and wondering how
Where and which is the best path
For our feet to tread

Murkiness of sin etching deep
And crouching within hearts causing blindness of
Heart, Vision, Mind, Focus, Mission
Of our future lives so it affects
Our innermost motivations and plan
Leading actions affected by degrading moral values
Leading to one’s character destruction

Therefore, one may fall into
The traps that have been laid earlier
And ready to be preyed
To be preyed by the fallen angels
When sins and trespasses reach
To its final peak and to fruition
Awaiting destiny of own’s destruction

Like broken branches that are
Ready to be collected and burnt with fire
Agony souls crying in fire
Burnt with unquenchable fire and thirst water
But without drop of water

So now, the projector is staying in the service centre and it is liken the world’s living condition before knowing the Cleaner of our lenses. That Cleaner is Jesus Christ. As I receive Christ into my life, the clearer my perspective of life becomes (Revelation 3:17-19).

Touching the droplets of rain produces rainbow.
With the power of click
A colourful photo is captured and produced.
Electricity discovery is developed throughout
Centuries by various people’s hard work contribution
For the good of mankind
And to improve mankind’s life.

How much more do we need to
Thank the Lord for His
Eternal Gift, the Saviour of our soul
Let’s accept His Eternal Gift
Gift of Salvation in Lord Jesus Christ
Let’s bless His Holy Name.

Portrait is made visible due to the invisible electric current and the camera taker. Without it, a photo will not be produced. This creation is made visible due to the Words spoken by the Invisible God, who is not visible to our eyes. (Genesis 1)

The above inspiration comes as I kept on gazing onto the photo I have taken and was enclosed with a frame by my mother-in-law. She told me that actually she wanted to place a photo of my husband and I with our baby in a photo frame, but she couldn’t find me in my baby’s photos so my husband with his son are in the photo frame. I don’t mind. As I stared at the photo that I have taken satisfactorily, suddenly the above paragraph came to me then the haiku is birthed.

During my prayer times in the morning, suddenly the above song is singing in my mind.

Envy and Hatred

Being blessed
I become the object of other’s envy
But when someone is blessed
I envy
Aspiring to be great

Why is this world full of
Envy and Hatred?
Hatred towards oneself and others?
Is it due to our sinful nature?

How should we solve this?
It is unsolvable.
It is human’s problem with oneself.

How to deal with this?
We are helpless on our own.
We need a Saviour.
Saviour of our soul.
This makes God to come into the picture
Clinging to Jesus Christ throughout our lives.
To overcome our sinfulness

As I observed the different aspects of people’s lives and even my life. My parents keep on warning me to beware of my cousin whom I felt very close during young times. We played together and she even guided me in my studies. After she returned from America, what my family warned had come true. Feeling betrayed, but I still couldn’t believe what my family describes her. She is smarter than me and now she already has a husband. What is the point of being jealous of my life to marry and have a baby earlier than her? I never expect of getting married earlier than her.

Dark of the Night

In the dark of the night
My soul ponders
Ponders about life
Life’s uncertainties
Uncertain about what the future hold.
Holding onto something tangible

But there is more than life
More than what is seen.
Faith, hope, and love are what
I need most in this life.

What can I do in the midst of my busyness?
Now is night
In the dark of the night
All I can do is to
Attune my soul with
The Lord on High
Seeking His will
Seeking His face
Seeking His approval
Seeking His favour
Seeking His love
Seeking His voice and guidance
Seeking His strength
Seeking His wisdom
Seeking His protection
Hoping in Him
To enable me to finish
My life well.

Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun. When I applied mine heart to know wisdom, and to see the business that is done upon the earth: (for also there is that neither day nor night seeth sleep with his eyes:) Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea farther; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it. Ecclesiastes 8:15-17 (KJV)

The above scripture resonates in my heart as I go through everyday life busy with my baby, tidying house, spending time with my family and even catching up with my friends. Seems that everyday is always busy.

Nowadays, the source of my inspiration comes from the book of Psalms where the Psalmist hope in God and in His Word during the night, which can be seen from Psalm 119:147-149 (CEB), “I meet the predawn light and cry for help. I wait for your promise. My eyes encounter each hour of the night as I think about your word. Listen to my voice, according to your faithful love. LORD, make me live again, according to your justice.”
