Jeremiah 39 helps me to understand about God. The Lord spoke to the Israelites through the prophet Jeremiah. Second and third stanza comes from verse 17 to 18. These two verses speak to me the importance to trust in the Lord during my tumultuous times. Likewise, the Lord continually deliver those who put their trust in Him. This really comforts my heart to continually trust in Him. Proverbs 3 also explain the importance of trusting the Lord in whatever we do.

Most of the time, people love to pass their own judgements without understanding someone. The feeling of bring misunderstood is extremely painful. Thus produce such quote. It is a quote seeking to be understood. All the time I spend time to understand others yet many choose to pass their own judgements onto me. If I’m not depressed, then I’m not human. However, I thank the Lord to understand my sense to be understood. God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

The feeling to write with my left hand returns. Yesterday’s memory ingrains an ache in my heart and mind. A newfound friend spoke harshly to me due to me being lack of experience. A long time friend was scared to confess so he passes it to me. The feeling of being caught in between is getting more unbearable until I cried to the Lord on my bed. At home and outside, I am caught in between. It’s so painful. Thus I spoke to that friend that his words and actions hurt me. As I was crying to the Lord, I find peace in Him. May this poetry comforts those who are caught in between. May you know that you are not alone. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

Suddenly, the idea of defining con acronym came “Caught Off Guard” except for letter n. According to the free dictionary, con means
- involving abuse of confidence; deceitfully manipulative: a con trick.
- to swindle; trick.
- to persuade by deception, cajolery, etc.
Li>a confidence game or swindle.
- a lie, exaggeration, or glib self-serving talk.

Yori’s acrostic poetry gave me the visual idea of the devil’s deception described by Jesus in the book of gospel. After communicating with Yiri cia email, inspirations flowed out as I continued writing it down.

Being in the bathroom is my favourite part of the day. It is when ideas and inspirations pop out such as images of poetry and stories. This time, “Groping in darkness Or Brisk in the light” popped out. Words flowed out upon revisiting it for two days being reminded of Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV), “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

My son purposely slowed down and refused to change his clothes. He particularly hates a seat cover and named it “teeth”. On Sunday, our guest bought him that seat cover. Its roughness gave the feeling of teeth. Suddenly, a light bulb appeared in my mind. Scaring him that the “teeth” asked me to let it out of the storeroom to jump around the living room. Fearful noise and look, he speedily changed to pyjamas and entered the room. Unexpectedly, he talked about this to his dad. He questioned me what is “teeth”. Using my body language to ask him to sing the same tune as me. Upon reflecting this, the above poetry flowed out.

When I heard of Yoshiko’s story, “Play along” came and produced the acronym of PA, which stands for Public Announcement.

This began with a guest staying in my house. Upon seeing my parents sat together in the kitchen, she banged the door (due to jealousy) then went out. Normally, she wouldn’t bang the door before my dad came. So I was thinking to add into the house rule, “In your anger, please do not bang the door.” Actually, this idea is inspired from Ephesians 4:22-32 (KJV), “That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.“

When the painful moment occurred, I was enjoying my play with my three years son. We were playing his favourite kitchen toy set. Dashing into my brother’s room to offer a cup of coffee. Running to and fro. Putting the pans back onto the stove. A quiet brute force knocked onto the back of my spine playfully. Extremely painful. Enough to let tears well up in my eyes. My mother in law appeared and scolded him. Leading him to run towards my mother, but she rebuked him gently. Dashed into my mother’s room. Hiding behind the bed feeling guilty (I guess). Upon the pain was gone, my hands lost strength when I attempted to turn door knob. Waiting for a few minutes, my strength returned. I gently spoke to my mother in law to let the matter rest since he is still young.
Approaching my guilt-stricken hiding son behind the bed, he seemed hesitant to come out. Fearful of his predicament. Thank God for the understanding that he is still so young and the compassion He instilled upon me. Embracing my son, gently reason with him, and explain spine was the most sensitive part of the body. Nobody should hit such vulnerable section. No hitting spine and don’t let anybody to hit his. Finally, he came out and embraced me.
Upon reflecting this in the midnight, I realised love is open and vulnerable. More words flowed out as I revisited this poetry and remembered Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV), “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
Soil
Is the soil of our hearts favourable for God’s seeds to grow and flourish?
Or do our inner hearts are inclined to sins favouring evil to flourish?
Who is the source of our inner living?
Who do we let to be the central of our inner living?
Our actions indirectly reflect our inner thoughts and lives
Is it the battle of our hearts and minds?
Battle between the best and worst life

Whenever I think of my source of income, its acronym is SOI. There seems to have no meaning in it so inserting L is the best. It signifies the soil of our heart. The dictionary describes soil as
- The top layer of the earth’s surface, consisting of rock and mineral particles mixed with organic matter.
- A particular kind of earth or ground: sandy soil.
- Country; land: native soil.
- The agricultural life: a man of the soil.
- A place or condition favorable to growth; a breeding ground.

It was a great challenge to me to define the acronym of ‘assume’ began with, “Always Seeing Someone”. According to dictionary, assume means to accept without proof; to take upon oneself; to pretend to be. Assumption means the act of assuming; unverified belief. So assumptions are not the truth until we verify its validity.
