With the notion of beauty, I took shower. Thinking that many people are obsessed with the sense of beauty. It produced SOB acronym. Then “smear” came to add more meaning in how God’s creation falls due to the first sin committed by Adam and Eve. Fat people are obsessed to lose weight. Thin people are obsessed to gain weight. Slim and slender people are obsessed to maintain their weight. That was how SOB acronym came into mind. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

Conflict challenged me to define it as acrostic poetry. Character and values are crucial to resolve and eliminate discord when conflict arises. Conflict is a true test of a character of our personhood. So all these aspects affect my acrostic definitions. Thanks for reading my poetry and hope this poetry minister and bless you.

As I refer back to my acrostic poetry Lot and read Yoshiko’s poetry on Con, I feel that the devil is running out of time. That is how Rot acronym came about. The free dictionary explains the meaning of rot clearly

1. To undergo decomposition, especially organic decomposition; decay
2. a. To become damaged, weakened, or useless because of decay
b. To disappear or fall by decaying
3. To languish; decline
4. To decay morally; become degenerate

God bless you all for reading my poetry to minister.

Sow to Reap

Selfishness blind the hearts
Selfishness blind the minds
Full of self seeking
Without realizing
Greed, Hatred, Pride, Self justification grip the eyes
Nothing else satiates one’s void heart
These causing oneself
Groping in darkness
Sowing evil seeds
Evil ones torment oneself
Wicked living
Living in hell of conscience
Reaping unquenchable fire

Fear of the Lord open the hearts
Fear of the Lord open the minds
Full of caring others
Without realizing
Love, Care, Concern, Peace, Kindness, Goodness, Longsuffering,
Gentleness, Patience, Joy, Understanding, and Self Control grip the eyes
Nothing else satiates one’s full heart
These causing oneself
Brisk in the light
Sowing good seeds
Basking in God’s love
Righteous living
Living in paradise of conscience
Reaping heavenly rewards

Open your eyes
Which one is the best?
Choose what is best
What is your preference?
Any decision made?

Being in the bathroom is my favourite part of the day. It is when ideas and inspirations pop out such as images of poetry and stories. This time, “Groping in darkness Or Brisk in the light” popped out. Words flowed out upon revisiting it for two days being reminded of Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV), “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

HR or HDR

HR or HDR

Taking care of our babies to adulthood may seems a hassle
Though hassle, people and family also feels rewarding
Even our obedience to our Lord
May seems hard at times, but rewarding in time to come
And prevent us from inner and outer destruction
From the trap laid by the evil one
Who wants us to suffer with him in the abyss of fire.

“HR”, “HDR”, “Headache Rewarding” then “Headache But Rewarding” inspired me, while I was caressing my son to sleep. It was like the acronym then the definition came. Though taking care of my child is draining me, sometimes I feel rewarding whenever I was reminded of my family and friends told me that. HR stands for Human Resource department in the corporate world who are in charge of employing people. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range photography refers to the range of brightness levels that exist in a particular scene – from darkest – before complete and featureless black, to lightest – before complete featureless white according to http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/hdr.shtml.

Fire vs Water

Fire is diminished
Cold water turns to hot water.

Use killing for revenge
Will turn the avenger
Into a murderer also.

Unity & Dependence

Posted on

Strings, binding roll, glue paste
Binds and hold all sheet of paper
A book is possibly made

Remove the holders will cause
Pieces of paper to collapse onto ground
Isolation occurs, waiting for fire

Christ is the book’s holder
We are like the pieces of paper
Scattered, showing the need for
Us to depend on Christ who is
The Source of life holder

See, Watch, Observe, and study
Tree consists of many leaves and fruits
Fallen leaves are dead without
Branches and it will not bear fruit
Watch how dead leaves are
Trampled by feet, thrown into rubbish chute
A sad and miserable ending.

As I ponder how to bind pieces of papers into a book, observing books how it is bind and stick with glue, the above inspiration was birthed. For more reference read the book of John chapter 15.

Destruction

Dust particles in the air
Mud, A Grain of Sand, Stain, Dirt
Ashes, Sandy wind onto lenses

Tiny little dots of dirt
Scattering across the screen blocking our vision
Vision of our eyes’ lenses

A windy cloud of haze
Blocks our pathways to our supposed destination
When standing and wondering how
Where and which is the best path
For our feet to tread

Murkiness of sin etching deep
And crouching within hearts causing blindness of
Heart, Vision, Mind, Focus, Mission
Of our future lives so it affects
Our innermost motivations and plan
Leading actions affected by degrading moral values
Leading to one’s character destruction

Therefore, one may fall into
The traps that have been laid earlier
And ready to be preyed
To be preyed by the fallen angels
When sins and trespasses reach
To its final peak and to fruition
Awaiting destiny of own’s destruction

Like broken branches that are
Ready to be collected and burnt with fire
Agony souls crying in fire
Burnt with unquenchable fire and thirst water
But without drop of water

The above inspiration came when I was cleaning the lens of my mini-projector numerous times, but to no avail. To my disappointment the screen got dirtier. So now, the projector is staying in the service centre and it is liken the world’s living condition before knowing the Cleaner of our lenses. That Cleaner is Jesus Christ. As I receive Christ into my life, the clearer my perspective of life becomes (Revelation 3:17-19).

Inviting Baby

Inviting baby
Inviting ants
As the floor invites fallen crumbling biscuits.

Eyebrow frowns
Fire rises
Mouth is going to scold
Hands are going to whack
STOP!

Just invite it into our minds
Let our minds accept it.
Let the fire cools down
Let our hearts be patient.
Be calm.
This will not happen forever.
It is just a while.
One day, it will be just a memory.
A memory that will bring a smile.

Remember, we are once like them before.
How do our parents react?
They are patient.

Upon observing ants took the fallen crumbling biscuits on the floor, suddenly the words, “Inviting ants” came to my mind. As I wrote it down, the above first paragraph came to my mind. Knowing that it is not completed, I kept on returned to it until 11 November the above piece is finally completed.

Why do I use the word “invite”? When we give birth, it is where we invite our babies from our womb to this world. As babies are still learning, we need to be patient with them. Whenever they eat by themselves, some food or biscuits may fell onto the ground. We ever went through that process, but had forgotten it. My mother is someone whom I admire and respects the most because she teaches and guides me with patience since young until adulthood. I thank the Lord for such a mother and I’m thankful and grateful for her time and effort.

The apostle Paul mentioned in his epistle for his gratefulness to those who labour for the sake of the gospel, which can be found in the book of Romans chapter 16.
